Abstract: The invention relates to the field of pesticide technology, and in particular a type of pyridyloxy carboxylate derivative, preparation method, herbicidal composition and application thereof. The pyridyloxy carboxylate derivative is represented by formula I,
wherein, A, B each independently represent halogen, or alkyl or cycloalkyl with or without halogen; C represents hydrogen, halogen, alkyl or haloalkyl; Q represents halogen, cyano, cyanoalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, amino, nitro, formyl, alkyl with or without halogen or the like; M represents -alkyl-R, R represents unsubstituted or substituted heterocyclyl, aryl or heteroaryl; Y represents O or S; X represents nitro or NR1R2. The compound has excellent herbicidal activity and higher crop safety, especially good selectivity for key crops such as rice and soybean.-

Abstract: The present invention relates to the treatment of plant material, especially seeds. The method uses vacuum pressure for disinfecting seeds from pathogens. Seed disinfection is important as seeds infected by pathogens could propagate them and lead to high losses of the crops. The method is applicable to seeds from cucurbit species specifically watermelon, melon, squash, pumpkin, cucumber and gourds but also seeds from solanaceous species specifically tomatoes, peppers and eggplants.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for cleaning and decontaminating animal carcasses are disclosed. The compositions comprise a mud ball remover having a thioglycolate salt and a base and an antimicrobial agent effective to remove mud balls and reduce microbial contamination of a hide surface at ambient temperatures. The methods comprise cleaning and decontaminating an animal carcass by applying the disclosed compositions onto the surface of the animal carcass to soften and loosen foreign debris attached to the carcass followed by mechanically removing the foreign debris while preserving the integrity and quality of the hide byproduct and resulting leather articles.

Abstract: The present disclosure comprises antimicrobial compositions and devices comprising silver compounds that resist heat and light discoloration. In one aspect, the said compounds comprise silver and at least one s-triazine ring or moiety. In another aspect, the antimicrobial compositions are hydrogels that are effective against broad spectrum of common pathogens including MRSA and VRE and are suitable for treating human or animal wounds and burns. The methods of the present disclosure comprise treating medical and non-medical devices and articles with compositions comprising the silver compounds to impart antimicrobial property.
