    摘要: A method that is implemented by a base station to decode a high speed dedicated physical control channel (HS-DPCCH) using a preamble and postamble of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) message while maintaining a fixed false alarm probability of interpreting a discontinuous transmission (DTX) as a HARQ acknowledgement (ACK) or HARQ negative acknowledgement (NACK). The method includes a set of steps, including receiving a signal from a user equipment (UE). The signal is despread using a G-RAKE demodulator. The despread signal is combined to produce a combined symbol estimate vector x including a preamble and postamble of the HARQ message. The combined symbol estimate vector x is checked to determine whether the signal includes a DTX, HARQ ACK or HARQ NACK, and then the DTX, HARQ ACK or HARQ NACK is output.

    摘要: A control node is configured to control a SIR-target for use by the radio network node when operating an Inner Loop Power Control. The radio network node receives a primary stream and a secondary stream while employing HSUPA MIMO. The radio network node detects a first indication of number of HARQ re-transmissions. The first indication is related to the primary stream. The radio network node detects a second indication of number of HARQ re-transmissions. The second indication is related to the secondary stream. The radio network node configures an Iub frame based on one or more of the first and second indication. The control node is configured to perform OLPC. Subsequently, the control node receives the Iub frame from the radio network node and extracts the first and/or second indication/s from the Iub frame. Next, the control node determines the SIR-target based on the first indication.

    摘要: The present disclosure discloses a method in a wireless access network node for controlling a UE. The UE comprises at least two transmit antennas, and is capable of uplink transmit diversity. There is an antenna weight associated with each transmit antenna. First, the wireless access network node determines that the antenna weights of the user equipment may be controlled. Then, it creates a control signal that comprises control information and transmits it to the user equipment. The control information controls a UE autonomous selection of the antenna weights in the UE.

    摘要: A network node of a wireless communication network serves a wireless device that is transmitting one or more uplink channels to each of a serving cell and at least one non-serving cell. Inner-loop power control, ILPC, commands are sent (420) to the wireless device in such a way that only ILPC commands transmitted by the serving cell affect the power of one or more control channels transmitted by the wireless device to the serving cell. In addition, a power offset for a data channel transmitted by the wireless device to the at least one non-serving cell is adjusted (430), so as to compensate for an uplink-downlink power imbalance among the serving cell and the at least one non-serving cell.

    摘要: Data may be transmitted from a RAN node to a wireless terminal using a MIMO antenna array. A plurality of unmapped symbol blocks may be generated. Symbols of a first one of the plurality of unmapped symbol blocks may be mapped to first and second mapped symbol blocks so that the first mapped symbol block includes symbols of the first unmapped symbol block and so that the second mapped symbol block includes symbols of the first unmapped symbol block. The symbols of the first and second mapped symbol blocks may be precoded to provide precoded symbols of respective first and second MIMO precoding layers using a MIMO precoding vector. Each of the precoded symbols of the first and second MIMO precoding layers may be transmitted through the MIMO antenna array to the wireless terminal using a same TFRE. Related devices and terminals are also discussed.
