    摘要: An orchestration and mediation (O/M) stack to be installed in a user device that subscribes to a carrier system is provided. The O/M stack configures the user device to receive a policy for accessing a plurality of different network slices that are logical networks virtualized on a physical infrastructure of the carrier system. The O/M stack configures the user device to coordinate each application's access to different services provided by the plurality of different network slices. An application is allowed access to a particular network slice when the application and the user device meet a condition specified by the received policy for accessing the particular network slice.

Based at least in part on using a permission to determine that the service provider is one of the at least two different service providers, a subset of dynamic features that are associated with the service provider can be accessed for configuring the user device with the subset of the dynamic features corresponding to the service provider.

    摘要: Techniques for enabling real time translation and transcription services between users that have contacted emergency services and PSAP operators who are coordinating the emergency services are discussed herein. For example, a system determines that the user and the PSAP operator speak different language, are unable to effectively hear each other, or are otherwise struggling to communicate effectively. The system can determine that an augmentation of the communication session is to be provided and can initiate translation or transcription services via network edge computing resources. The network edge computing resources are configured to generate the augmented communication data and enable the communication network to merge the augmented communication data and the original communication data in real time.

    摘要: A standalone mobile device that is not configured to handle voice over 5G is configured to automatically disable its 5G NR radio such that the NR radio is inoperable with respect to 5G networks, e.g., the mobile device cannot connect to a NR base station. The disabling of the mobile device's ability to connect to a 5G network may be event triggered, where an example of the event may be that the mobile device is handling a VoWiFi call. When the mobile device is handling a VoWiFi call and the VoWiFi call needs to be handed over to a cellular network, then the mobile device may perform the handover procedure of the VoWiFi call to an LTE network rather than first attempting to hand the VoWiFi call over to a 5G network via an EPS-FB procedure. When the call ends, the mobile device may re-enable its NR radio.

    摘要: Registration of a user equipment (UE) with a circuit-switched (CS) network can be controlled in an “on-demand” fashion by waiting for a trigger event before registering the UE with an available CS network. In some embodiments, CS registration of a UE may be triggered when the mobility management entity (MME) node receives, from the UE, a service request that was sent using Non-Access Stratum (NAS) protocol, such as an extended service request (ESR) or a short message service (SMS) over NAS request. In some embodiments, CS registration of a first UE may be triggered when the MME node receives, from a home subscriber server (HSS), a notification of an incoming session request originating from a second UE to establish a communication session over a CS network with the first UE.

    摘要: Systems and methods for dynamically managing the states (e.g., enabling/disabling) of telecommunication services/features are disclosed. To do so, the system associates parameters (e.g., timers) with the impacted services/features. For example, when a user experiences issues with voice calls, he/she calls the telecommunications service provider (carrier) to help resolve the issue. A customer care representative may ask the user to temporality turn off the VoNR service to help alleviate the issue. When the user turns off (or toggles off) the VoNR service on his/her mobile device, the system can start a configurable timer (parameter) for the VoNR service. In this manner, the system can replace the conventional toggle on/off feature with a time-based feature. The system monitors the timer's value and when the timer's value reaches a target value (e.g., 24 hours, 1 week, etc.), the system alerts the user that the VoNR service will be turned on (or toggled on).
