摘要: A capping mechanism selectively takes a capped state in which an ejection space opposing an ejection surface is covered or an uncapped state in which the ejection space is not covered. A controller is configured to: determine whether a first change of the capping mechanism from the capped state to the uncapped state occurred while air moisturized by a moisturization mechanism is being moved to the ejection space by a ventilator or not; and when a second change of the capping mechanism from the uncapped state to the capped state occurred after the first change occurred, control the ventilator to move the air moisturized by the moisturization mechanism to the ejection space when a first uncapped time is shorter than a first predetermined time, and control a discharger to discharge the liquid through ejection openings when the first uncapped time is not shorter than the first predetermined time.

The encoder strip is located between the pair of guide members in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The pair of the guide members are located on one of opposite sides of the carriage in a third direction perpendicular to the first and the second directions. The encoder strip is located on the other of said opposite sides of the carriage in the third direction.

摘要: A manufacture method is provided for a molded product having a thin-walled member and a thick-walled member which are crosswise arranged. A slide plate of a mold is slid so that an interval between thin-walled-member inner wall surfaces of mold members of the mold is enlarged. The thin-walled-member inner wall surfaces are opposite to each other with the thin-walled member being inserted therebetween. Thus, a constraint of the thin-walled member by the mold is released, so that the thin-walled member can move corresponding to the crystallization shrinkage of the thick-walled member which is cooled later than the thin-walled member. Thus, crack can be restricted at the crosswise connection part between the thin-walled member and the thick-walled member.

摘要: A control means of a molding machine is designed so as to control molding cycles SA and SB for sequentially performing injection of molten resin into a product portion of a mold 1 to fill it therewith, cooling down and solidification of the filled molten resin, mold opening of the mold 1, taking-out of a molded product, and mold closing of the mold 1 as well as changing the shape of a molten resin filled region of the product portion in accordance with the shape of a molded product to be molded in the next molding cycle during the present one molding cycle. Therefore, it is possible to change the shapes of molded products without the need to stop the molding cycle.

摘要: A capping device including: (a) a cap structure is movable, relative to an object, in a contact direction toward a surface of the object so as to be brought into contact with the surface, for thereby covering the surface of the object; (b) a transmission mechanism configured to transmit, to the cap structure, a pressing force that causes the cap structure to be brought into contact with the surface; and (c) a support member supporting the transmission mechanism. The transmission mechanism is configured to restrain increase and reduction of the pressing force, such that the pressing force transmitted to the cap structure is held in a given amount range at least when a distance between the cap structure and the support member in the contact direction is in a given distance range while the cap structure is in contact with the surface.
