Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to prepare novel vaccine carriers that can be used to produce vaccines that are capable of efficient induction of humoral and cellular immune responses. Another object of the present invention is to provide vaccines that are capable of efficient induction of humoral and cellular immune responses. The present inventors revealed that the above-stated objects of the present invention could be attained by using liposomes containing succinylated poly(glycidol) and this finding has led to the accomplishment of the invention. Stated specifically, the present invention can attain the aforementioned objects by providing vaccine carriers comprising liposomes containing succinylated poly(glycidol).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a gene transfer agent, a gene transfer kit, and a gene transfer method excellent in safety and transfer efficiency. Specifically, the present invention provides a gene transfer agent composition, the gene transfer agent composition including a compound represented by any one of the following formulae DL-G1 to DL-G4: DL-G1: R1R2NX(XH2)2; DL-G2: R1R2NX(X(XH2)2)2; DL-G3: R1R2NX(X(X(XH2)2)2)2; and DL-G4: R1R2NX(X(X(X(XH2)2)2)2)2 (X represents —CH2CH2CONHCH2CH2N—), in which: R1 represents an unsaturated long-chain aliphatic group; and R2 represents an unsaturated long-chain aliphatic group or a saturated long-chain aliphatic group in the formulae.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a hat-type steel sheet pile whose economic efficiency, workability, and integrity are all optimized. In the hat-type steel sheet pile according to the present invention, web portions are continuously formed at both ends of an upper flange portion, and lower flange portions are formed at respective end portions of a pair of web portions. A relationship among geometrical moment of inertia I per 1 m of wall width (cm4/m) when forming a steel sheet pile wall, weight per unit wall area W (kg/m2), penetration resistance R, and web angle θ (°) is set to satisfy one of several expression groups.
Abstract:
A communication terminal according to the present invention includes a determination unit configured to determine whether or not each channel should be set as a handoff candidate on the basis of receiving quality of a pilot signal, and a channel information report transmitter configured to transmit a channel information report for setting a specific channel as a handoff candidate if the number of channels set as handoff candidates in the same sector reaches a predetermined number or more by setting the specific channel as a handoff candidate.
Abstract:
A phospholipid derivative represented by the following formula (1) wherein each symbol is as described in the specification; a liposome containing the phospholipid derivative, and the like.
Abstract:
Provided is an input apparatus having a touch sensor to detect a contact operation to a slide bar displayed and to provide a tactile sensation of shift of the slide bar.An input apparatus 1 has a touch sensor 11 configured to detect a contact, a load detection unit 12 configured to detect a pressure load on a touch face of the touch sensor 11, a display unit 14 configured to display the slide bar, a tactile sensation providing unit 13 configured to vibrate the touch face, and a control unit 15 configured to control the tactile sensation providing unit 13 such that a tactile sensation is provided to an object pressing the touch face based on a position of a knob of the slide bar shifted in response to the contact detected by the touch sensor 11 while the pressure load detected by the load detection unit 12 satisfies a predetermined standard.
Abstract:
A relay device 10 is a relay device for relaying a communication message on a packet-by-packet basis, which comprises an order determiner 13 for determining whether a packet received is one received in an order to be received, a packet holder 14 for, when it is determined that the packet is not one received in the order to be received, holding the packet, and for performing such a control as to relay the packet, a merger 15 for merging a payload of the received packet with a payload of the held packet, a verifier 16 for verifying whether a payload of a packet satisfies a predetermined rule, and a relay controller 17 for, when a packet satisfies the rule, performing such a control as to execute relay of the packet. This prevents an increase of a communication delay and enables detection of an irregular communication message in an application layer protocol, irrespective of types of protocols.

Abstract:
When a communication regulation determining block determines that E-mail communication is regulated when an E-mail processing block prepares for communication or initiates communication, information indicative of alternative communicating section using another communication path in which communication is not regulated is displayed on a user interface section. Therefore, it is possible to easily check which communicating section is effective when communication regulation occurs, and hence the user can easily make a determination such as that alternative communicating section is used, or that communication is aborted.
Abstract:
A tactile sensation providing apparatus includes a touch sensor 11, a tactile sensation providing unit 13 configured to vibrate a touch face of the touch sensor 11, a tactile sensation provision control unit 14 configured to control drive of the tactile sensation providing unit 13, and a main control unit 17 configured to control an operation of the tactile sensation provision control unit 14 based on an output of the touch sensor 11. The main control unit 17 determines whether an object is touching a predetermined area of the touch face based on the output of the touch sensor 11, and starts the operation of the tactile sensation provision control unit 14 when determining that the object is touching the predetermined area, or stops the operation of the tactile sensation provision control unit 14 when determining that the object is not touching the predetermined area.
