摘要: Electronic assembly and method (100) for detecting user's fingerprints, comprising a touch-sensitive surface (110) configured to register user touch; a fingerprint sensor (120) for detecting user's fingerprints on at least a part of the touch-sensitive surface; a first controller circuit (CU1) configured to activate the fingerprint sensor and receive fingerprint information from the fingerprint sensor and a second controller circuit (CU2) configured to detect the position and/or movement of a user's finger on (154) or above (152) the touch-sensitive surface in response to signals from the touch-sensitive surface. The electronic assembly further comprises a host system (CPU) connected to the first and second controller circuits, where the host system comprises circuitry for processing information received from the first and second controller circuits. The first controller circuit configured to receive information from the second controller circuit related to the current position (142, 152) and/or movement (v) of the user's finger on or above the touch-sensitive surface and activate a portion (165) of the fingerprint sensor on which to perform fingerprint reading.

摘要: An electronic device concurrently displays: a first object that includes first content of an application, including updating the first content as a state of the application changes; and a user interface of software that is different from the application. In response to detecting an input directed to the first object: if the input is a first type of input, the device transitions from displaying the first object to displaying a second object that is smaller than the first object and that includes different, second content of the application, including updating the second content as the state of the application changes while continuing to display the user interface of the software; and, if the input is a second type of input that is different from the first type of input, the device replaces at least a portion of the user interface of the software with a user interface of the application.

摘要: In one embodiment, a system includes a touch sensor, measurement circuits, and a monitoring circuit. The monitoring circuit is coupled to each measurement circuit. The monitoring circuit is configured to perform operations in a first power mode. The operations include receiving signals from the measurement circuits and generating an output signal that is proportional to a sum of the signals received from the measurement circuits. A value of the generated output signal indicates whether activity has occurred on the touch sensor.

摘要: An apparatus, method and computer program product provide a simplified method for unlocking an electronic device that uses soft keys, such as capacitive touch keys, or proximity detection areas and patterns. The keys may be implemented in the form of areas of a sensor, and a processing circuit observes a touch pattern (or proximity pattern, or characteristic pattern such as a capacitance pattern of a user's finger) and compares the same with the registered pattern to determine if there is a likeness. In doing so, the electronic device is operated at a low power state, and in that low power state observes whether a predetermined pattern is observed and when it is, unlocks the electronic device for interaction with a user at a fully operational state. By operating in the low power state while waiting to observe a predetermined pattern before unlocking the user interface, the device does not waste power on false positive detections, and allows for convenient wakeup and accessibility by a user.

摘要: A receiving device includes an optical detector that detects a position of an object of interest to be detected by receiving, with the use of one or more light-receiving portions, reflected light that occurs when light emitted from one or more light-emitting portions is reflected by the object of interest; and a transition receiving portion that receives, based on a detection result detected by the optical detector, an user operation for causing an apparatus including the receiving device to transition from a first power state where power consumption of the apparatus is less to a second power state where the power consumption is greater. In the first power state, the optical detector activates one or more light-emitting portions and one or more light-receiving portions that are necessary for detecting a user operation on the transition receiving portion, and inactivates the rest that are unnecessary.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to the field of display technologies, and provides a display device and a method for providing haptic feedbacks using the same. The display device comprises: a display assembly, wherein the display assembly comprises a display face and a non-display face opposite to the display face; a transducer; and a haptic engine. Specifically, the transducer is arranged on the non-display face of the display assembly, and configured to output a current with corresponding amplitude according to its own deformation. Furthermore, the haptic engine is electrically coupled to the transducer, and configured to generate different degrees of haptic feedbacks based on the amplitude of the current output by the transducer.

摘要: Power consumption of touch sensing operations for touch sensitive devices can be reduced by implementing one or more coarse scans to coarsely detect the presence or absence of an object touching or proximate to a touch sensor panel and dynamically adjusting the operation of the touch sensitive device to perform or not perform one or more steps of a fine scan based on the results of the one or more coarse scans. In some examples, the fine scan can be scheduled, and one or more steps of the fine scan can be aborted when no touch is detected at touch sensors scanned during the one or more steps. Sense channels unused due to the aborted fine scan steps can be powered down during aborted fine scan steps.

摘要: Power consumption of touch sensing operations for touch sensitive devices can be reduced by implementing a coarse scan (e.g., banked common mode scan) to coarsely detect the presence or absence of an object touching or proximate to a touch sensor panel and the results of the coarse scan can be used to dynamically adjust the operation of the touch sensitive device to perform or not perform a fine scan (e.g., targeted active mode scan). In some examples, the results of the coarse scan can be used to program a touch controller for the next touch sensing frame to idle when no touch event is detected or to perform a fine scan when one or more touch events are detected. In some examples, the results of the coarse scan can be used to abort a scheduled fine scan during the current touch sensing frame when no touch event is detected.
