    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and a system for converging a 5th-generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-generation (4G) system with a technology for internet of things (IoT). The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A method of a communication apparatus includes determining an acknowledgement (ACK) transmission frequency for each flow, based on a state of a transmission control protocol (TCP) transmitter, identifying whether uplink resources are insufficient, selecting a flow for adjustment of the ACK transmission frequency when the uplink resources are insufficient, and adjusting the ACK transmission frequency of the selected flow.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system therefor for combining a 5G communication system, for supporting higher data transmission rates beyond a 4G system, with IoT technology. The present disclosure can be applied, on the basis of 5G communication and IoT-related technologies, to intelligent services such as services related to a smart home, smart building, smart city, smart or connected car, health care, digital education, small businesses, security and safety. The communication method using multilinks in a wireless communication system according to a variety of embodiments of the present disclosure comprises the steps of: acquiring multilink control data; distributing transmission data to each link on the basis of the multilink control data; and transmitting, simultaneously or selectively, the distributed transmission data to each link. The embodiments are not limited to the above and other embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long-term evolution (LTE). The present disclosure relates to beam management in a wireless communication system, and an operation method of a base station may comprise the steps of: transmitting first type reference signals; receiving feedback information on the first type reference signals; transmitting information on resources for second type reference signals, which are allocated on the basis of the feedback information, to at least one terminal; and transmitting the second type reference signals through the resources, wherein the second type reference signals are transmitted using fixed transmission beams by the base station.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging an IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G system, and a system therefor. The present disclosure may be applied to an intelligent service (for example, a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car or connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail business, a security and safety related service, or the like) on the basis of a 5G communication technology and an IoT related technology. Disclosed are an apparatus for transmitting data through at least one of a first path and a second path, and a method therefor. A method for an apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: identifying the size of data transmittable through a first path during a reference time for a second path; comparing the identified data size with the buffer size of a reception device; and determining a transmission mode on the basis of a result of the comparison, and transmitting the data to the reception device according to the determined transmission mode.
