Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a light emitting element disposed on the substrate, a capping layer covering the light emitting element, and an encapsulation layer disposed on the capping layer. The capping layer includes a first inorganic layer, a first flexible layer disposed on the first inorganic layer, and a second inorganic layer disposed on the first flexible layer. The first flexible layer includes silicon and carbon. A thickness of the first flexible layer is about 80% or more of a thickness of the capping layer.

A first raw material in the forming the first inorganic layer includes hydrogen. A second raw material in the performing the first plasma treatment exclusively consists of hydrogen.

Abstract: Provided is a display device including a display panel, a polarizing layer on the display panel and including a linear polarizer having a stretched polymer film, an adhesive member directly on the linear polarizer, and a window on the adhesive member, wherein the adhesive member absorbs 90% or greater of light having a wavelength in a range of about 300 nm to about 380 nm, and may thus effectively protect the polarizing layer from ultraviolet light incident from the outside. In addition, the display device may obtain thinner thickness, thereby exhibiting excellent reliability.
