摘要: A display apparatus with improved aperture ratio and light transmittance is presented. The apparatus has a pixel group that includes a first pixel including first and second sub-regions, a second pixel including third and fourth sub-regions, and a third pixel including fifth and sixth sub-regions. The first, second, and third pixels are sequentially arranged in a first direction and at least two sub-regions of the first, third, and fifth sub-regions have different widths in the first direction. The second, fourth, and sixth sub-regions are sequentially arranged in the first direction, and at least one sub-region of the second, fourth, and sixth sub-regions expands toward an adjacent sub-region in the first direction and has a width greater than a width of the other sub-regions of the second, fourth, and sixth sub-regions in the same pixel group.

摘要: An OLED display device includes a pixel having a switching transistor turned on by a scan signal received from a scan line and which transmits a data signal received from a data line to a first node, a driving transistor connected between the first node and a second node and through which a driving current corresponding to the data signal flows, a storage capacitor including one end connected to a power supply and another end connected to a gate electrode of the driving transistor, an OLED emitting light by the driving current, and a light emission control transistor connected between the second node and an anode of the OLED and which is turned on by an light emission control signal and transmits the driving current to the OLED. The switching transistor may be an n-type transistor, and the light emission control transistor is a p-type transistor.

The device includes: first, second, and third color pixel areas; a first substrate and a second substrate; a first color filter disposed in the first color pixel area on the first substrate or the second substrate; a second color filter disposed in the second color pixel area on the first substrate or the second substrate; a third color filter disposed in the third color pixel area on the first substrate or the second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the first color pixel area includes a first transparent region at which the first color filter is not disposed, and a ratio of the first transparent region of the first color pixel area to the first color pixel area is in a range of 1/1000 to 1/2, inclusive.

摘要: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a liquid crystal display, including: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer formed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a first color pixel area, a second color pixel area, and a third color pixel area formed on the first substrate or the second substrate, wherein the first, second, and third color pixel areas respectively include one of a red filter, a green filter, and a blue filter, and a cross-section of the blue filter has an at least approximately parabolic or semicircular shape. According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to prevent excessively yellow images and improve luminance thereof by changing a shape of a blue color filter included in the liquid crystal display.
