Abstract:
A test apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The test apparatus includes a storage configured to store information related to a battery provided in the test apparatus, a controller configured to calculate a power consumption rate of the battery changed according to an operation of the test apparatus based on the stored information of battery and configured to determine a current amount of power of the battery based on the calculated power consumption rate of the battery; and a display configured to display the current amount of power of the battery and at least one piece of information related to the operation of the test apparatus based on the determined current amount of power of the battery.
Abstract:
A test apparatus is provided for rapidly detecting abnormal loading of a microfluidic device, and unloading the abnormally-loaded microfluidic device, thereby preventing contamination of the test apparatus by a sample and degradation in reliability of test results. A test system including the test apparatus and a control method for the test apparatus are also provided. The test apparatus includes an optical sensor to photograph an image at a position corresponding to the microfluidic device, and a controller to detect a pattern formed on a surface of the microfluidic device based on the photographed image to determine whether characteristics of the detected pattern are identical to characteristics of a pre-stored pattern, and to determine whether the microfluidic device has not been normally loaded, when the characteristics of the detected pattern are different from the characteristics of the pre-stored pattern.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a biomaterial test apparatus and a method of controlling the same, capable of previously sensing an ambient air temperature where a biomaterial test is performed in order to determine whether to proceed with the biomaterial test. The biomaterial test apparatus includes a housing, a platform receiving chamber arranged inside the housing and capable of receiving a platform into which a biomaterial is injected, a display which is arranged outside the housing and displays a control screen to test the biomaterial, a temperature sensor which senses a temperature of the platform receiving chamber and an air temperature in the vicinity thereof, and a control unit which, when the air temperature is less than a predetermined first critical temperature, controls the display so as to display a screen indicating that the test is impracticable.
Abstract:
A test apparatus and a method for controlling the same are provided. The test apparatus may receive information about a reaction device, information about a storage environment, and external environment information from a storage storing a sample and a sensor sensing the external environment of the test apparatus. The test apparatus may perform a variety of control actions for testing the sample based on a temperature of and around the reaction device, resulting in increased reliability of the test result.
Abstract:
A test device and a method for controlling the test device are disclosed. After a test is interrupted due to a malfunction of the test device, the test device continuously performs the interrupted testing. The test device for testing a biological material includes: a memory configured to store information which relates to progress of a test; and a controller which, if the test is interrupted due to a malfunction of the test device, is configured to continue performance of the test by using the information which relates to the test progress which is stored in the memory.
