Abstract: A water pipe for mining operations includes a composition including a poly(phenylene ether), a hydrogenated block copolymer of an alkenyl aromatic monomer and a conjugated diene, an organophosphate ester, a phosphazene or a combination thereof, and a brominated polystyrene. Each component is present in the composition in a particular amount defined herein. The water pipe can be made by a method including forming the composition by melt-mixing the components of the composition, and extruding the composition through an annular die to provide the water pipe.
