A method and system of facilitating the use of AT commands specified for a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) packet domain in relation to an Evolved Packet System (EPS) packet domain is provided. An embodiment of the present invention comprises defining, in response to an AT command directed to the definition of a secondary Packet Data Protocol (PDP) context, an EPS Service Data Flow (SDF) on the basis of the secondary PDP context.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for transferring data between a host platform and modem circuitry are provided. At low data rates, data may be stored by on-chip memory, and data may be transferred from the on-chip memory to the host platform over an interconnect (IX) when a first aggregation period expires. At medium data rates, data may be stored in both the on-chip memory and in in-package or off-chip memory, and the data may be transferred from the on-chip memory and off-chip memory to the host platform over the IX when a second aggregation period expires. At high data rates, the on-chip memory may serve as an elastic buffer, and the data may be streamed directly through the on-chip memory to the host platform over the IX. A hot-rolled austenitic manganese steel strip having a chemical composition in percent by weight of 0.4%≦C≦1.2%, 12.0%≦Mn≦25.0%, P≧0.01% and Al≦0.05% has a product of elongation at break in % and tensile strength in MPa of above 65,000 MPa %, in particular above 70,000 MPa %. A cold-rolled austenitic manganese steel strip having the same chemical composition achieves a product of elongation at break in % and tensile strength in MPa of above 75,000 MPa %, in particular above 80,000 MPa %.

A technique for transferring data between an application and at least two Radio Access Technology (RAT) modules selectively connectable to a network is described. A device embodiment of this technique comprises a storage adapted to hold data from the application, the data being intended to be transmitted via at least one of the RAT modules. Furthermore, the device comprises a first control mechanism adapted to initiate holding of the data in the storage when the RAT modules assume the same connection state. The connection state is selected from a connected state in which data transmission via the respective RAT is enabled and a disconnected state in which data transmission via the respective RAT is disabled. The device also comprises a second control mechanism adapted to initiate sending of the data held in the storage to the RAT module assuming the connected state when the RAT modules assumed different connection states again.

Process for manufacturing cylindrical hollow bodies with a circular cross-section using solid rough material of corrosion-resistant, martensitic chromium steels. A remelting block is produced and a tube blank is made therefrom, the tube blank being formed into a tube at hot forming temperature by extrusion at a deformation ratio of at least 6. Hollow bodies are cut from the resultant tube.

The invention relates to an optical sensor (1) for determining particle and/or dye concentrations in liquid or gaseous media and to a method for operating the same. The optical sensor (1) comprises at least one measuring head. The measuring head consists of an emitter unit (2) with a semiconductor emitting element (9), which emits visible emission light beams (8), and with a receiver unit (3) with a semiconductor receiving element (10). The portion of the emission light beams (8), which pass through an absorption section containing liquid or gaseous medium, is guided onto the receiving element (10). An evaluating unit (6) is coupled to the measuring head via electric leads (4, 4′), and the received signals, which are present at the output of the semiconductor receiving element (10), are evaluated inside said evaluating unit in order to determine the particle or die concentration.
