A data protecting method and a memory storage device are provided. The data protecting method includes reading a first string from the rewritable non-volatile memory module to obtain a data string; performing a decoding operation based on the data string to obtain block information corresponding to a plurality of physical erasing units; inputting the block information to an error checking and correcting (ECC) circuit of the memory storage device to generate a second string; and storing the second string into the rewritable non-volatile memory module.

A data accessing method and system for a memory storage apparatus are provided. The method includes: performing a near field communication between a memory storage apparatus and an electronic apparatus, and receiving a first password from the electronic apparatus by the memory storage device in the near field communication. The method also includes: recording the first password in a memory unit of the memory storage apparatus. The method further includes: when the memory storage apparatus is not connected to the electronic apparatus or a host in a predetermined time after the memory storage apparatus receives the first password, deleting the first password recorded in the memory unit; and when the first password recorded in the memory unit is the same as a second password in the memory storage apparatus, allowing the electronic apparatus or the host to access the memory storage apparatus by the memory storage apparatus.

The present disclosure provides a data protection method, a memory control circuit unit and a memory storage device. The data protection method includes: establishing a security channel with a electronic device through a wireless communication network; acquiring an identification code through the security channel established on the wireless communication network; acquiring an encryption/decryption key by using the identification code and storing the encryption/decryption key in a buffer memory; decoding the data read from the rewritable non-volatile memory by using the encryption/decryption key, and the data in the rewritable non-volatile memory is encoded by using the encryption/decryption key; detecting whether an acknowledgement signal is received from the security channel established through the wireless communication network; and erasing the encryption/decryption key stored in the buffer memory if the acknowledgement signal is not received from the electronic device within a predetermined period of time.

A controlling method of a rewritable non-volatile memory module, and a memory controller and a data transmission system using the same are provided. The controlling method includes following steps. A command is received from a host system. Whether the command is a configuration command is determined according to a command code of the command. A plurality of action information in the configuration command and an execution sequence corresponding to the action information are analyzed. The action information is executed according to the execution sequence. Each action information is configured to request the rewritable non-volatile memory module to execute a predetermined action. Thereby, the functionality of a memory storage device can be dynamically extended.
