摘要: A system and method for treatment of thread includes a thread printer that applies colored coatings to thread. A camera is positioned to capture images of the treated thread after it passes through an outlet of the thread printer. The system processes the images to determine whether the location of a selected segment of the treated thread corresponds to an expected location. If the actual location of the selected segment corresponds to the expected location, the system will continue instructing the thread printer to selectively apply the colored coatings to the thread according to the pattern. However, if the actual location does not correspond to the expected location, the system will modify the pattern so that thread printer adjusts the size of one or more segment to automatically account for the misalignment.

摘要: A system for treatment of thread includes a weft thread printer having an intake positioned to receive a weft thread from a source, as well as an encoder that is configured to detect a length of the weft thread as the weft thread moves through the weft thread printer along a travel path. The system also includes a printhead positioned to apply coatings of a plurality of colors to the weft thread and yield a treated weft thread, as well as an outlet positioned to pass the treated weft thread to a loom.

摘要: A print feedstock has a base material and a marker material, the base material and the marker material having different physical properties. A system to validate objects includes at least one printer to print feedstock onto an object, the feedstock comprising a base material and a marker material, the base material and a marker material having different properties, a device to create a unique identifier for the object based upon a pattern of the feedstock, and a store in which the unique identifier can be stored.

摘要: A system and method for treatment of thread includes a thread printer that applies colored coatings to thread and that passes the treated thread to a fabric weaving system. A camera is positioned to capture images of the treated thread as it is woven into a fabric in the fabric weaving system. The system processes the images to determine whether the location of a selected segment of the treated thread in the fabric corresponds to an expected location in the fabric. If the actual location of the selected segment corresponds to the expected location, the system will continue instructing the thread printer to selectively apply the colored coatings to the thread according to the pattern. However, if the actual location does not correspond to the expected location, the system will modify the pattern so that thread printer adjusts the size of a segments to automatically account for the misalignment.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method is provided. The method includes obtaining sensor data indicative of a set of objects detected within an environment. The method also includes determining a set of positions of the set of objects and a set of properties of the set of objects based on the sensor data. The method further includes generating a state graph based on the sensor data. The state graph represents the set of objects and the set of positions of the set of objects. The state graph includes a set of object nodes to represent the set of objects and a set of property nodes to represent the set of properties of the set of objects. The state graph is provided to a graph enhancement module that updates the state graph with additional data to generate an enhanced state graph.

摘要: Systems and methods for operating a tag system. The methods comprising: wirelessly communicating, from a tag, a first signal at a first frequency spectrum that allows a tag reader to detect the first signal, when the tag is not proximate to an antenna modulation marker or when the antenna modulation marker has a first orientation relative to the tag; and performing operations by the tag to wirelessly communicate a second signal at a second frequency spectrum that does not allow the tag reader to detect the first signal, when the tag is proximate to the antenna modulation marker or when the antenna modulation marker has a second different orientation relative to the tag.

摘要: Additive manufacturing compositions and methods for fabricating a conductive article with the same are provided. The additive manufacturing composition may include a 3D printable material and a metal precursor disposed in the 3D printable material. The metal precursor may include a metal salt, a metal particle, or combinations thereof. The method may include forming a first layer of the article on a substrate, where the first layer includes the additive manufacturing composition, forming a second layer of the article adjacent the first layer, and binding the first layer with the second layer to fabricate the article. The method may also include plating a metal on at least a portion of the article to fabricate the conductive article.
