Abstract: An image processing apparatus generates a left-eye viewpoint image and a right-eye viewpoint image, detects one or more pairs that are each a pair of a partial image of the left-eye viewpoint image and a partial image of the right-eye viewpoint image that are similar to each other, performs, for each of the one or more pairs, image adjustment processing for adjusting the three-dimensionality of one of or both of the partial images of the left-eye and right-eye viewpoint images, displays the left-eye viewpoint image or the left-eye viewpoint image after the image adjustment processing in a manner such that this image is capable of being observed with a left eye, and displays the right-eye viewpoint image or the right-eye viewpoint image after the image adjustment processing in a manner such that this image is capable of being observed with a right eye.

Abstract: Provided is an image-acquisition apparatus that includes: a stage on which a specimen is mounted; an objective lens that collects light from the specimen mounted on the stage; a motor that drives the stage in the direction intersecting an optical axis of the objective lens; an imaging device that acquires images by capturing the light collected by the objective lens; and a processor comprising hardware, wherein the processor is configured to implement: a deterioration-level calculation unit configured to calculate deterioration levels contained in the acquired images; and an image generating unit configured to generate a pasted image by pasting the acquired images, wherein the image generating unit is configured to generate the pasted image by combining, for a common region of two images that are mutually pasted, an image with lower deterioration level calculated by the deterioration-level calculation unit at a higher combining ratio.

Abstract: An image-processing device is provided with: a pattern-matching portion that performs pattern matching between a first image and a second image acquired before the first image and that outputs a motion vector between the images and an evaluation value that indicates the accuracy of the motion vector; a recursive noise-reduction portion that outputs a noise reduction image, which is the first image to which noise reduction has been applied, and that performs noise reduction in which an image based on the first image and an image based on the noise reduction image formed in the past are mixed in accordance with a predetermined recursion amount; and a controlling portion that controls a recursion amount in the recursive noise-reduction portion on the basis of the motion vector and the evaluation value output by the pattern-matching portion and a gain that is applied to the first image to adjust a brightness thereof.
