    摘要: In an IEEE 802.11 wireless system, a wireless STA is configured to access a secondary channel by receiving an inter-BSS PPDU which identifies a transmission channel bandwidth for the inter-BSS PPDU and TXOP duration, and then accessing a secondary channel which excludes the transmission channel bandwidth identified by the inter-BSS PPDU and a primary 20 MHz channel for the wireless STA device from a basic service set (BSS) operating bandwidth associated with the wireless STA device before exchanging one or more frames on the secondary channel during the TXOP duration without using the primary 20 MHz channel for the wireless STA device, and then switching back to the primary 20 MHz channel before the TXOP duration ends.

    摘要: A method of a low power listening mode includes announcing, by a first wireless device is operating in a low power listening mode. The first wireless device in the low power listening mode receives an initial frame having a single spatial stream and a low data rate from a second wireless device. The frame requests a frame exchange with the first wireless device. The low data rate is lower than a maximum data rate of the first wireless device. A reply to the initial frame is transmitted to the second wireless device in a single spatial stream with the low data rate. The reply acknowledges an association with the second wireless device. The first wireless device wakes from the low power listening mode to a full capacity mode, and performs a frame exchange with the second wireless device in the full capacity mode.

The PPDU includes i) a PHY preamble and ii) PHY data portion that includes one or more PHY midambles, and the PHY preamble includes i) an indication of a length of the PPDU, and ii) an indication of a periodicity of PHY midambles in the PHY data portion. The communication device calculates a number of PHY midambles in the PPDU using i) the indication of the length of the PPDU, and ii) the indication of the periodicity of PHY midambles. The communication device calculates a reception time for the PPDU using the calculated number of PHY midambles, and processes the PPDU using the calculated reception time.

    摘要: A method for Wireless Local-Area Network (WLAN) communication in a WLAN device includes receiving from a remote WLAN device an announcement of a maximal Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) buffering capability of a receiver of the remote WLAN device. A HARQ Physical-layer Protocol Data Unit (HARQ PPDU), which includes one or more HARQ coding units, is constructed in the WLAN device in response to the announcement. The HARQ PPDU is transmitted from the WLAN device to the remote WLAN device. One or more of the HARQ coding units are retransmitted in response to a request from the remote WLAN device.
