Abstract: A device, a system, and a method for multi-link operations are disclosed. In an embodiment, the device includes a processor configured to generate a frame that includes a Traffic Indication Map (TIM) element, where the TIM element includes a group-addressed buffered frame indication for reported Access Points (APs) that indicates a transmitted Basic Service Set Identifier (BSSID) AP and non-transmitted BSSID APs affiliated with the reported APs, and exchange buffered frames according to the TIM element.

Abstract: One example discloses a first-device: wherein the first-device is configured to be coupled to a second-device over an IEEE 802.11 communications link; and wherein the first-device is configured to, store a current setup between the first-device and the second-device; identify a unique identifier of the second-device; transmit a request frame to a third-device; wherein at least one of the second-device and third-device is a multi-link-device (MLD); wherein the request frame is configured to request an association with the third-device and includes the unique identifier of the second-device; receive a response frame from the third-device; and wherein the response frame includes an indication that request was successful.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to wireless communications based on a restricted TWT SP and buffer status. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, frames are transmitted based on a restricted TWT SP and buffer status for communications between wireless circuits. Control data for the communications traffic may be processed in response to the restricted TWT SP, with a TXOP ending at the beginning of a restricted TWT SP of a another link, in response to the restricted TWT SP being negotiated in a different link. Such an approach may be carried out where one of the wireless circuits has no STR configuration. A protected duration time for the TWT SP may be set to a time that is less than a duration of the TWT SP in response to the TWT SP being protected by a quiet element duration period.

Abstract: A communication device determines, in connection with a prior uplink multi-user (UL MU) communication in which the communication device participated, whether the communication device is to use one or more first channel access parameters, or one or more second channel access parameters for accessing a communication medium for a single user (SU) transmission by the communication device, where using the one or more first channel access parameters is associated with a greater probability of obtaining access to the communication medium as compared to using the one or more second channel access parameters. Depending on the determination made, the communication device uses the one or more first channel access parameters, or the one or more second channel access parameters to attempt to access the communication medium. In response to accessing the communication medium, the communication device transmits the SU transmission via the communication medium.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a method performed by a first wireless device for bandwidth negotiation for frame exchange in a TXOP with a second wireless device, including: announcing by the first wireless device a channel puncture scheme indicating whether some 20 MHz channels covering a BSS operating bandwidth are punctured or not; transmitting a frame to the second wireless device indicating a bandwidth for the frame exchange; receiving a frame from the second wireless device indicating a negotiated bandwidth for the frame exchange; and exchanging frames with the second wireless device using the negotiated bandwidth.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to an apparatus having a multi-link device (MLD) including processing circuitry to communicate signals with one of a plurality of remote devices over multiple communications link. The MLD and the one of the remote devices operate in first and second communication-specific configurations as follows. A physical layer convergence procedure protocol data unit (PPDU) is transmitted in one of the links while a PPDU is communicated in another one of the links under a first configuration. A PPDU is communicated in a first one of the respective communications links with an ending time set based on a PPDU communicated in a second one of the respective communications links in a second configuration. Such approaches may be carried out based on capabilities relating to simultaneous transmission and reception of MLDs that are communicating.

Abstract: A method for multi-antenna processing in multi-link wireless communication systems includes transmitting by a first MLD, a first capability defining a first number of Spatial Streams (SS) supported by the first MLD for a single link exchange over one of a subset of links from a plurality of links between the first MLD and a second MLD. A second capability is transmitted by the first MLD defining a second number of SS supported by the first MLD for each link of a multi-link exchange. At least one Radio Frequency (RF) chain of the first MLD is configured to enable communication over the subset of links from the plurality of links.

Abstract: Examples of wireless communication based on link use capabilities of multi-link devices is disclosed. A first multi-link device receives a first physical layer conformance procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) on a first link from a second multi-link device and transmits a second PPDU on the second link based on a link use capability of the second multi-link device and a backoff counter counting down to a predetermined value. A first multi-link device also transmits a PPDU on the first link and the second link at a same start time based on an link idle determination and the backoff counter counting down to a predetermined value.
