    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method and a device, which can suppress poisoning due to CO and efficiently remove a low concentration of amines contained in a gas discharged from a CO2 recovery device that uses various absorbing liquids of CO2 even at low temperature. A discharged gas treatment method for removing amines as absorbent contained in a gas discharged from a CO2 removal device, in which the CO2 removal device has used the amines, the method comprising alternatively performing the step of passing the discharged gas through a catalyst-packed bed which is packed with a catalyst composed of titanium oxide and an oxide of vanadium (V) or titanium oxide, an oxide of vanadium and an oxide of molybdenum (Mo) or tungsten (W), to adsorb and remove the amines contained in the discharged gas; and the step of passing heated air through the catalyst-packed bed wherein the amines are adsorbed thereon to heat the catalyst, and at the same time performing elimination and oxidative decomposition of the adsorbed amines.

    摘要: A catalyst unit is constructed by alternately stacking rectangular catalyst elements (1) formed by cutting catalyst support plates coated with a catalytic material and having ribs (2) inclined at 45.degree. to one specified side edge (1a) of each thereof, and those turned upside down in a case, and the catalyst unit is disposed in a gas passage with the ribs (2) of the catalyst elements (1) inclined at an angle greater than 0.degree. and smaller than 90.degree. to the direction of the gas flow (6). When the catalyst unit comprising the catalyst elements (1) coated with a denitrating catalyst is placed in the gas passage, the ribs (2) of the catalyst elements (1) blocks the gas flow (6) and generate turbulent currents on the downstream side thereof to promote the contact of ammonia and NOx contained in the exhaust gas with the catalyst. When the gas flow (6) is disturbed, the thickness of laminar films covering the surface of the catalyst elements (1) is reduced, so that ammonia and NOx can be easily diffused and the catalytic activity can be enhanced. The catalyst elements exhibits their catalytic abilities effectively without entailing significant pressure loss in the gas flow.

    摘要: An apparatus for removing of traces of toxic substances from exhaust gas, comprising, disposed in sequence from the upstream side in a flow channel of exhaust gas emitted from combustion equipment, a denitration unit including a denitration catalyst layer capable of removing nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gas and capable of oxidizing metallic mercury; an air preheater adapted for heat exchange between air for combustion in the combustion equipment and the exhaust gas; a dust removal unit having a bag filter containing a catalyst for metallic mercury oxidation; and a desulfurization unit for removing sulfur oxide from the exhaust gas. The bag filter may be disposed in advance of the desulfurization unit. Thus, there can be provided an apparatus for removing of traces of toxic substances from exhaust gas that is stable over a prolonged period of time and is highly reliable; and provided a method of operating the same.

    摘要: The invention is to provide (1) a method for decomposing chlorine containing organic compounds (DXNs) contained in an exhaust gas in which method a high decomposition ratio of the DXNs can be obtained even at a low temperature and the effects by SOx can be repressed to a minimum and (2) a method for treating a used catalyst; the method for decomposing DXNs contained in an exhaust gas comprises contacting the DXNs contained in the exhaust gas with nitrogen dioxide (NO2) which is contained in the exhaust gas or added from the outside into the exhaust gas at 100 to 450° C. in the presence of a catalyst comprising a titanium oxideu, molybdenum oxide, and vanadium oxide, the contents of Ti, Mo, and V in which catalyst being in the range of 99 to 70/0.5 to 15/0.5 to 15 in terms of atomic ratio, respectively, to oxidatively decompose the DXNs with the nitrogen dioxide; and acocording to the method for treating a used catalyst, the DXNs adhered to the catalyst can be made innoxious by contacting the used catalyst with a gas containing NO2 to oxidatively decompose the DXN2 adhered to the catalyst, with the NO2.
