Abstract: A HARQ operation method of a UE in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus using the method are provided. The method comprises receiving one piece of DCI related to scheduling of a plurality of data channels, and receiving or transmitting at least one from the plurality of data channels based on the DCI. Each of the plurality of data channels is related to a different HARQ process number in an ascending order, the DCI includes information informing of the at least one data channel based on the HARQ process numbers, and the information includes i) a start HARQ process number from among HARQ process numbers related to the at least one data channel, and ii) a discontinuous HARQ process indicator (DHPI) informing whether each of HARQ process numbers next to the start HARQ process number from among the HARQ process numbers is used.

Abstract: A method of processing a service in a transmitter, and including generating, by a hardware processor, a first media component and a second media component for the service; generating, by the hardware processor, signaling data for the service; time interleaving, by a time interleaver, the first media component, wherein the first media component is time-interleaved by column-wise writing actual Forward Error Correction (FEC) blocks including the first media component in a Time Interleaving (TI) memory and diagonal-wise reading the first media component in the actual FEC blocks from the TI memory, wherein one or more virtual FEC blocks are skipped during the diagonal-wise reading the written first media component, and wherein a number of the one or more virtual FEC blocks is equal to a difference between a number of the actual FEC blocks and a column number of the TI memory; generating, by a signaling generator, physical layer signaling information, wherein the physical layer signaling information includes first physical layer signaling information and second physical layer signaling information, wherein the first physical layer signaling information includes information for identifying a size of the second physical layer signaling information and wherein the second physical layer signaling information includes information for obtaining the column number of the TI memory; transmitting, by an antenna, the time-interleaved first media component, the physical layer signaling information and the signaling data through a broadcast network; and transmitting, by a network interface, the second media component to a receiver through a broadband network. Further, the signaling data transmitted through the broadcast network includes first timeline information for specifying a timeline of the first media component transmitted through the broadcast network and uniform resource location information for the second media component.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a broadcast signal in a digital broadcast transmitter, the method including generating components of a service; generating first signaling information including session instance description information for at least one Real-Time Object Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) session and at least one Layered Coding Transport (LCT) channel in which the components of the service are delivered, wherein the session instance description information includes first source Internet Protocol (IP) address information of the at least one ROUTE session, first destination IP address information of the at least one ROUTE session, first destination port information of the at least one ROUTE session, and transport session identification information for the at least one LCT channel; generating second signaling information which is used for acquiring the first signaling information, wherein the second signaling information includes information for indicating a channel number of the service, wherein the second signaling information further includes bootstrap information and signaling transport mode information for indicating a type of delivery protocol of the first signaling information, and further the bootstrap information changes depending on the signaling transport mode information, and wherein the bootstrap information included in the second signaling information includes second source IP address information, second destination IP address information, and second destination port information for the first signaling information, wherein the at least one LCT channel is acquired based on the bootstrap information included in the second signaling information; and transmitting the broadcast signal including the components of the service, the first signaling information, and the second signaling information based on at least one Physical Layer Pipe (PLP).

Abstract: A method of processing data in a digital receiving apparatus, the method including receiving a broadcast signal including low level signaling data, wherein the low level signaling data is carried via a specific data pipe (DP), wherein the low level signaling data includes service category information, the service category information is used to identify an AV service, an audio only service or an TSG (electronic service guide) service, wherein the low level signaling data is used to provide bootstrap information that allows the receiving apparatus to discover at least one service layer signaling information, wherein the bootstrap information includes URL data for a first service layer signaling information when the first service layer signaling information is transmitted via a broadband network, and wherein the bootstrap information includes a destination user datagram protocol (UDP) port number and a destination internet protocol (IP) address for a second service layer signaling information when the second service layer signaling information is transmitted via a broadcast network; and parsing the low level signaling data included in the broadcast signal, wherein the low level signaling data is parsed, and then the first service layer signaling information or the second service layer signaling information is processed.
