A method and device for transmitting and receiving data using HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) are disclosed. The method, if performed by a source device, includes: receiving a request from a sink device to transmit data processing capability information indicating whether the source device is capable of processing user-input data or not; transmitting the data processing capability information to the sink device; and receiving the user-input data from the sink device.

The present invention is related to a method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving data by using HDMI (High Definition Media Interface). A method and an apparatus according to the present invention comprises requesting reading EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) from a sink device in case the sink device is connected; receiving from the sink device EDID including capability information of the sink device, wherein the capability information indicates whether the sink device is capable of processing gesture information; requesting gesture information indicating a predetermined gesture which may be recognized or extracted from the sink device on the basis of the EDID; and receiving the gesture information from the sink device.

A method for transmitting and receiving data of a sink device by using HDMI is disclosed. A method for transmitting and receiving data of a sink device by using HDMI comprises receiving video data through at least one channel of HDMI from a source device; generating an error counter value by performing CED (Character Error Detection) on the received video data; in case the error counter value exceeds a threshold value, transmitting to the source device a CEC message requesting resolution change of the video data; and receiving video data with a resolution changed according to the CEC message from the source device.

The present invention is related to a method for transmitting and receiving data to and from a web server by using Bluetooth communication in a wireless communication system, comprising receiving a first write request including HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) request-related information from a first client device; transmitting to a web server HTTP request-related information generated on the basis of information included in the received first write request; receiving an HTTP response message in response to the HTTP request-related information from the web server; notifying the first client device of an HTTP status code indicating the status of data included in the received HTTP response message; and receiving a read request requesting data transmission on the basis of information included in the HTTP status code from the first client device, wherein, in case a second write request is received from a different client device while the first write request is being received, an error response is transmitted to the different client device.
