Abstract:
To solve the above problems, a pouch for a battery according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a cup part that accommodates an electrode assembly and is formed by laminating a surface protection layer, a gas barrier layer including a metal, and a sealant layer; and a degassing part in which a degassing aperture is punched when a degassing process is performed and in which no gas barrier layer is formed.
Abstract:
To solve the above problem, a venting device inserted into a sealing part of a pouch of a secondary battery according to the present invention includes: a housing inserted between confronting surfaces of the sealing part and sealed together with the sealing part; an element made of a metal and disposed in the housing and through which a passage is defined providing gas communication between an inside and an outside of the pouch; and a ball disposed at an outlet-side of the passage, the ball configured to open and close the passage, wherein, in the element, an edge of an inner circumference of a surface of the outlet-side of the passage is chamfered or filleted so as to face the ball, and the element includes: a surface treatment layer formed on the chamfered or filleted surface; and a layer made of a polymer and fused to the surface treatment layer.
Abstract:
A pouch case of the present disclosure includes an inner resin layer, a metallic layer, and an outer resin layer, wherein the resin layer(s) include(s) a foaming activator containing an isocyanate-based compound and a polyol compound. Accordingly, since the pouch case includes the inner resin layer and/or the outer resin layer including the foaming activator, when moisture or the like is permeated thereto due to an external factor, a protective layer including urethane-based foam is formed in the outer resin layer or between the inner resin layer and an electrode assembly in a short time, so that the pouch case and the electrode assembly may be protected, moisture which is permeable into the electrode assembly may be blocked, and separator cracking also may be prevented. Accordingly, explosion which may be caused by moisture permeation, separator cracking, or a short circuit by contact between the pouch case and the electrode assembly, or the like, may be prevented, and stability of a pouch type secondary battery may thus be ensured.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a positive electrode material comprising: a positive electrode active material mixture comprising a positive electrode active material prepared with an active material precursor and a lithium compound, a conductive agent and a binder; and an active material precursor as an additive, in which the active material precursor as the additive is a same substance as the active material precursor as a material of the positive electrode active material.
Abstract:
A pouch type secondary battery according to the present invention includes: an electrode assembly; a battery case accommodating the electrode assembly in an inside thereof; an electrode tab protruding from the electrode assembly; a first electrode lead having an inner end connected to the electrode tab; a second electrode lead having an inner end coupled to an outer end of the first electrode lead and an outer end extending outside of the battery case; a connection part coupling the first and second electrode leads to each other; an insulation part fused around a portion of each of the first and second electrode leads, the insulation part bonding the first and second electrode leads to the battery case; and a fusion prevention part located at a position at one surface of the first electrode lead, the fusion prevention part preventing the first electrode lead from being fused to the insulation part.
Abstract:
A method for a pouch film according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a step of applying an adhesive on one surface of a first polymer layer; a step of depositing metal particles on the adhesive; a step of applying heat and a pressure to the deposited metal particles to sinter the metal particles and thereby forming a gas barrier layer; and a step of laminating a second polymer layer on one surface of the gas barrier layer.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Disclosed are a secondary battery and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, since an external protrusion protruding from the outside of an exterior constituting a body of the secondary battery as a component through which a secondary battery according to a related art is electrically connected to external electric equipment is removed, the secondary battery may be reduced in volume under the same capacity.
