    Abstract: A method of predicting a driving condition of a vehicle may include selecting a first prediction position where a vehicle is predicted to pass afterward while driving and predicting a first driving load of the vehicle at the first prediction position; when the vehicle reaches the first prediction position, measuring a driving condition of the vehicle at the first prediction position; and predicting a second driving load at a second prediction position where the vehicle is predicted to pass afterward by reflecting an error between the first driving load at the first prediction position and the real driving condition at the first prediction position.

    Abstract: An apparatus for controlling shifting of a vehicle and a method therefor are provided, where the apparatus includes a storage storing a power map in which a demand power corresponding to a vehicle speed and an accelerator position sensor (APS) value is recorded and storing an energy consumption map of a power source for each gear stage. The apparatus includes a controller that detects a current demand power based on the power map, generates a power graph representing the detected demand power as the number of revolution and a torque of the power source for each gear stage, and matches the generated power graph with the energy consumption map of the power source to control a shift to a gear stage which consumes minimum energy.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for controlling a transmission of a vehicle may include a determining device configured to determine whether a curved road is present within a predetermined distance in front of the vehicle, based on information on a front road, a calculating device configured to correct, based on information on a gradient of the curved road, a vehicle speed in starting cornering of the vehicle on the curved road, determine an expected lateral acceleration based on the corrected vehicle speed and information on a curvature of the curved road, and determine a pattern correcting coefficient based on the determined expected lateral acceleration, a pattern correcting device configured to correct a gearshifting pattern of the transmission, which is preset, based on the pattern correcting coefficient, and a control device connected to the determining device, the calculating device and the pattern correcting device and configured to control the transmission based on the corrected gearshifting pattern when the vehicle enters the curved road.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for controlling a transmission of a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a determination device to determine whether to perform speed following control based on state information of a traffic light positioned on a road in front of the vehicle in coasting, a stop position predicting device to predict a stop position of the vehicle based on position information of the vehicle and the traffic light, a transmission stage decision device to determine a target position and a target speed based on the predicted stop position and to form a speed profile for each transmission stage to determine a final transmission stage based on the target position and the target speed, and a controller to perform speed following transmission control based on the final transmission stage.
