摘要： A resin composition containing: an ester compound including a carboxylic acid ester obtained by using (1) a monohydric alcohol having an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; (2) a dicarboxylic acid having an alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms; and (3) a dihydric alcohol having an alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, the ester compound having an acid value of 1.00 mgKOH/g or less, a hydroxyl value of 5.0 mgKOH/g or less, and a number-average molecular weight of from 300 to 700; and an aliphatic polyester. Since the resin composition of the present invention inhibits the generation of volatile compounds, the resin composition can be suitably used in various industrial applications, such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, and automobile parts.

摘要： In a hybrid vehicle, a target rotational speed and a target torque or a target operation point of an engine are set to a predetermined optimal efficiency rotational speed and a predetermined optimal efficiency torque that enable the engine to be operated efficiently when the engine is operated while a state of charge of the battery is equal to or more than a control-center state of charge after a start of a driving of the vehicle. Then, the engine and motors are controlled so that the engine is operated at the target operation point and a torque equivalent to a torque demand is output to a ring gear shaft or an axle.

摘要： A process is disclosed for the production of an alkyl glycoside stable in hue and odor, which comprises the steps of (1) reacting a sugar with alcohol to obtain an alkyl glycoside reaction product containing a higher alcohol, (2) decoloring the alkyl glycoside reaction product with hydrogen peroxide, (3) contacting the decolored alkyl glycoside with a metal/hydrogen complex represented by formula (I)M(BH.sub.4).sub.z (I)wherein M is an alkali metal, Ca, Zn or (CH.sub.3).sub.4 N; andz is 1 when M is an alkali metal or (CH.sub.3).sub.4 N and z is 2 when M is Ca or Zn; to substantially eliminate residual hydrogen peroxide, and then (4) decomposing the remaining metal/hydrogen complex with an acid.

摘要： A process is described for the production of an alkyl glycoside which comprises distilling a higher alcohol in the presence of an alkaline substance, or washing a higher alcohol with an aqueous solution of an alkaline substance, and then reacting the higher alcohol with a sugar or a reaction product of a sugar and a lower alcohol. According to this process, an alkyl glycoside showing an excellent hue can be produced by repeatedly using unreacted alcohol recovered from the reaction mixture in the production of an alkyl glycoside.
