The receptacle (9) of the cup-shaped insert (7) is elastically deformable and has a recess configured as a truncated hollow cone and the centering profile (3) of the circular cutting tool (2) is configured as a truncated cone. The convergin cone angle of the recess in receptacle (9) is smaller than the cone angle of the centering profile (3). Several cuts (10) separate the receptacle (9) in spring segments (11). The bottom (12) of the recess has a larger diameter than the contact surface (13) of the circular cutting tool (2). It is provided with a circular groove (14) running along its periphery.

    摘要: A cutting tool, such as a turning tool, includes a clamping holder on which a clamping shoe is secured. The clamping shoe has a curved surface projecting member adjacent one end for securing a cutting bit in a recess in a first surface on the clamping holder. The projecting member seats within a shaped recess in the cutting bit. Guide cams are located adjacent the opposite end of the clamping shoe and contact a second surface on the clamping holder inclined relative to the first surface. A clamping bolt located between the projecting member and the guide cams secures the clamping shoe to the clamping holder. A spring encircling the bolt biases the clamping shoe outwardly from the clamping holder. A pin member is mounted in the second surface of the clamping holder and engages between the guide cams as protection against turning the clamping shoe about the axis of the clamping bolt.

    摘要: A cutting tool, such as a turning tool, includes a clamping holder with a recess in one of its surfaces, a cutting bit insertable into the recess, and a clamping shoe secured to the clamping holder by a clamping bolt. The clamping shoe has a projecting member engageable within a depression located in the surface of the cutting bit for securing the cutting bit in the recess of the clamping holder. The depression is defined in the surface of the cutting bit by a closed line formed in part by convexly curved first lines and by second lines interconnecting the ends of the first lines. The depression, as viewed in plan, has an oblong or star-shaped configuration. The lines defining such configuration can be convex, concave or rectilinear. The surface of the depression within the closed line is formed by a radius centered at points located outwardly from the surface of the cutting bit containing the depression. Accordingly, the length of the radius is greater than the depth of the depression. The projecting member on the clamping shoe has a half-barrel or half-cylinder shape so that it forms a punctiform contact with the surface in the depression.
