Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and a related communication apparatus. In a dual connectivity scenario, user equipment (UE) establishes a dual connection to a master radio access network node (MN) and a secondary radio access network node (SN). When the MN requests the SN to provide a multicast broadcast service (MBS) for the UE of the MN, the MN sends a first request to the SN, where the first request includes a first identifier corresponding to the MBS. After receiving the first request, the SN sends a first response to the MN, where the first response indicates that the SN agrees to provide the MBS service for the UE. In this way, MBS service data is sent to the UE through the SN in the dual connectivity scenario.

The first terminal updates first information of the first unicast link based on the first message to obtain updated second information of the first unicast link. In this method, loss values of different areas in an image are determined based on a partition indication map of the image, and then a total loss value is determined based on the loss values of the different areas. The partition indication map may be used to distinguish between a heavily-structured area and a lightly-structured area in the image, that is, the partition indication map may be used to distinguish between an edge structure and a texture. When the total loss value is used to assess image reconstruction quality, the image reconstruction quality can be assessed more comprehensively, and assessment of reconstruction quality of the edge structure and the texture can be maximally prevented from mutual impact.

Abstract: Example communication methods apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving air interface link signal information of neighboring network devices by a source network device from a terminal device. The source network device determines a target network device based on sidelink information of the terminal device and the air interface link signal information of the neighboring network devices. Then, the source network device may send a handover request to the target network device, so that the terminal device can be handed over from the source network device to the target network device. Therefore, the target network device determined by the source network device can better meet an air interface link communication requirement and a sidelink communication requirement of the terminal device.
