摘要: An object of the present invention is to reduce the amount of solvent vapor floating around when a print head is cleaned in an inkjet recording device. In addition, an object is to reduce ink stains on a periphery of the print head. An inkjet recording device includes a main body portion and a print head. The main body portion includes an ink container that contains ink, and a solvent container that contains a solvent. The print head includes a nozzle connected to the ink container to discharge the pressurized and supplied ink, a charging electrode that charges ink particles discharged from the nozzle, a deflection electrode that deflects the ink particles charged by the charging electrode, and a gutter that collects the ink. In addition, a head mounting unit for cleaning the print head is provided. The head mounting unit is connected to a solvent vapor suction path for suctioning solvent vapor generated therearound.

摘要: An inkjet recording device and a method for controlling an inkjet recording device are provided. A heating device that heats the ink to be supplied to a nozzle immediately ahead of the nozzle, a thermometer that detects a temperature of the ink inside the heating device or after heating, a viscometer that detects a viscosity of the ink in a main ink container are provided. The heating device is driven using a detection value of the thermometer to control the temperature of the ink such that the viscosity reaches an ink viscosity which enables normal printing, and when the viscosity of the ink is out of a range which enables printing, the solvent or the replenishment ink is supplied to the main ink container using a detection value of the viscometer such that the viscosity reaches the range which enables normal printing.

摘要: An inkjet printing device is configured to allow appropriate separation of the ink solvent liquefied in the exhaust passage from the exhaust gas, and prevention of the separated exhaust gas from contaminating the inside of the print head into which it is returned so that the resultant function achieves the low running costs. When the ink fed from an ink container 3 is jetted from a nozzle 6 for printing on a printing object, the ink 7 that has not been used for the printing is drawn by a gutter 8 along with air and collected into the ink container 3. The air that is mixed with the ink solvent and collected is discharged as the exhaust gas into an exhaust passage 15 from the ink container 3. At this time, the liquefied ink solvent that has been liquefied in the exhaust passage 15 is separated from the gas by retaining the liquid using capillary action in a gas-liquid separator 22, and the separated liquefied ink solvent is collected. The trace amount of the ink solvent leaking on the exhaust side of the gas-liquid separator is prevented from dripping into the print head by a drip prevention unit.
