摘要: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejection head to eject liquid, a recovery unit, a housing, a discharge unit, a casing including the discharge unit and the housing, and a liquid receptacle. The recovery unit maintains liquid ejecting performance of the liquid ejection head. The housing houses a container that accommodates liquid received by the recovery unit. The discharge unit discharges the liquid received by the recovery unit to the container. The liquid receptacle is disposed below the discharge unit in a direction of gravity in the casing and includes a first groove extending in a first direction crossing the direction of gravity and a second groove extending in a second direction crossing the direction of gravity and the first direction.

摘要: A tank includes: a wall separating a liquid storage chamber, which stores a liquid to be supplied to a liquid consuming part, from an outside; an inlet penetrating the wall; and a liquid outflow part which allows the liquid to flow to the outside of the liquid storage chamber. The wall includes a view wall, which extends upward and downward and allows a user to visually check a liquid level in the liquid storage chamber, and a bottom wall, which defines an inner bottom surface of the liquid storage chamber by being connected to the view wall. The inner bottom surface of the bottom wall includes an inclined part which extends from at least a part of the view wall to incline downward in a direction away from the view wall.

摘要: A recording apparatus includes a recording unit that performs recording by ejecting ink onto a medium; a pump unit that sucks a waste liquid discharged from the recording unit in a maintenance of the recording unit; a wall portion; a body in which the recording unit, the pump unit, and the wall portion are provided; and a housing in which the body is housed. The body is provided in the housing in such a way as to be changed in position between a closed position and an open position in a depth direction. The closed position is a position where the body is housed in the housing. The open position is a position where the body protrudes from the housing and where a part of the body is exposed from the housing. The wall portion is provided at a position of hiding at least a part of the pump unit exposed when the body is located at the open position.

摘要: An image forming system includes a fluid applicator unit, a substrate positioning unit, and a fluid collector assembly. The fluid collector assembly includes a collector substrate, a collector advancement unit, and a collector control module. The fluid applicator unit may apply fluid to a substrate. The substrate positioning unit may position the substrate in a printzone to receive the fluid from the fluid applicator unit such that a first portion of the fluid remains on the substrate and a second portion of the fluid does not remain on the substrate. The collector substrate may collect the second portion of the fluid in the printzone below the substrate. The collector advancement unit may advance the collector substrate along a collector transport path below the substrate in the printzone. The collector control module may control the collector advancement unit to selectively advance the collector substrate along the collector transport path in response to application of the fluid to the substrate by the fluid applicator unit.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to reduce the amount of solvent vapor floating around when a print head is cleaned in an inkjet recording device. In addition, an object is to reduce ink stains on a periphery of the print head. An inkjet recording device includes a main body portion and a print head. The main body portion includes an ink container that contains ink, and a solvent container that contains a solvent. The print head includes a nozzle connected to the ink container to discharge the pressurized and supplied ink, a charging electrode that charges ink particles discharged from the nozzle, a deflection electrode that deflects the ink particles charged by the charging electrode, and a gutter that collects the ink. In addition, a head mounting unit for cleaning the print head is provided. The head mounting unit is connected to a solvent vapor suction path for suctioning solvent vapor generated therearound.

摘要: A printer includes a recording unit, a platen unit, a maintenance tank, and a guide unit. The recording unit ejects ink onto a medium. The platen unit includes a support surface that supports the medium and a discard portion in which waste ink is discarded. The maintenance tank recovers the waste ink. The guide unit has a receiving surface, and guides the waste ink to the maintenance tank. Second surface energy is larger than first surface energy when the first surface energy indicates surface energy at a first position on the receiving surface with respect to the waste ink and the second surface energy indicates surface energy at a second position closer to the maintenance tank than the first position.
