摘要: This disclosure relates to a closing assembly for a motor vehicle, and more particularly to a closing assembly for body closures of motor vehicles. An example vehicle includes an immovable body component, a moveable body component configured to move relative to the immovable body component, and a closing assembly. The closing assembly includes a locking bolt configured to engage a latch moveable relative to a guide slot between a release position and a closed position. The closing assembly further includes a spring exerting a restoring force urging the latch in the direction of the closed position. The restoring force has no force component along a section of the guide slot corresponding to the release position of the latch. The closing assembly is a low cost and robust assembly which reduces noise associated with closing a vehicle door. These and other benefits will be appreciated from the following description.

摘要: Methods and system are provided for operating a fuel system of a stop-start engine system. In one example a method may comprise powering off a lift pump and maintaining a volume control valve in a closed position during an engine stop to maintain a fuel pressure within a fuel rail and one or more fuel injectors. The method may further comprise, in response to determining an engine start is desired, powering on the lift pump, initiating cylinder combustion, and operating a higher pressure pump (HPP) in an unpressurized mode when a fuel pressure upstream of the HPP is less than a threshold and switching to operating the HPP in a pressurized mode when the fuel pressure upstream of the HPP reaches the threshold.

摘要: A system and method for controlling fuel injection and a fuel injection system, wherein the fuel injection system comprises a fuel pump and a plurality of injection valves, each connected to a cylinder of an internal combustion engine, wherein the fuel pump and/or the injection valves produce pressure waves that cause fuel pressure fluctuations, and wherein depending on a respective current demanded fuel quantity in the internal combustion engine the fuel injection quantity is reduced or increased by using at least one actuator to produce additional pressure waves in the fuel injection system that modify the fuel pressure fluctuations with at least temporary boosting of said fuel pressure fluctuations.
