摘要: A column mounted shoring bracket has a support sub-assembly attached to a column or other supporting surface, a jack sub-assembly attached to the support and a head sub-assembly attached to a part of the jack that varies in height relative to the support. The head has a head base that supports one or more rollers for moving a form. The head also has a supporting plate for supporting the form. The supporting plate is connected to the head base so that it may be slid upwards and fixed in a position where the top of the supporting plate is above the top of the rollers, for example to carry the weight of a slab being built, or slid downwards so that the top of the supporting plate is below the top of the rollers which do not have to carry the weight of the slab being built. The angular position of the rollers may be aligned with an external reference such as the side of a column, a wall, or a jig. The bracket is adapted for use with parts of forms that may be made or assembled in or adjusted between a set of widths within a range that differ from each other by a selected increment. The forms include structures for spanning between shoring brackets or other supports that can be pre-cambered so as to have acceptable deflection when loaded.

摘要: A tie rod assembly for use with forms for forming a wall of pourable, curable material. Each assembly has a rod having opposite threaded ends and two spacers. Each of the spacers has a first conical section having a recessed opening at an apex region of a concave conical guide surface and a hexagonal recess surrounding the apex region, and a second conical section having a threaded bore communicating with the apex opening. The threaded bore has a coil thread nut integrated with the conical second section. The concave conical guide presents a target for directing a remotely inserted bolt towards the apex region for engagement with the coil thread nut.

摘要: A connector for assembling components of scaffolding is disclosed comprising a barrel having an opposite end having a longitudinally extending slot. A pivot pin and an abutment pin extends across the slot and mounted at the opposite end of the barrel. A free hanging latch has an offset aperture for pivotally mounting onto the pivot pin and a channel for receiving the abutment pin. One end of the channel is configured to abut with the abutment pin when the latch is in a locked position and the other end of the channel being configured to abut the abutment pin when the latch is in an unlocked position. The latch has a tab which is offset beyond the end of the barrel whereby pressing on the tab, the latch pivots from the locked position to the unlocked position allowing egress of the brace from the connector.

The present invention further relates to functional ligands which bind with affinity to target molecules. The present invention further relates to methods for generating, for example, functional biomolecules, particularly to functional nucleic acids, that bind with functional activity to another biomolecule, such as a receptor molecule. More than one or multiple targets as used herein may generally include different types of targets, and/or may also include a multitude of a singular type of targets at different conditions, such as, for example, temperature, pH, chemical environment, and/or any other appropriate conditions.

摘要: A first ice making bag (110) comprises a first envelope (112) which comprises a first envelope top (112T) and a first envelope bottom (112B). The first ice making bag (110) further comprises a first binding (114) which comprises a first peripheral binding (114A). A first left peripheral opening binding (114AL), and a first right peripheral opening binding (114AR). The first left peripheral opening binding (114AL) and the first right peripheral opening binding (114AR) form a gap therebetween. The first binding (114) functions to form a pocket between the first envelope top (112T) and the first envelope bottom (112B). The first ice making bag (110) further comprises at least one first opening binding (114B) forming an air channel between the first left peripheral opening binding (114AL) or the first right peripheral opening binding (114AR) and the at least one first opening binding (114B). An user holds the first ice making bag (110) in a vertical position pouring liquid in through the gap into the pocket formed between the first envelope top (112T) and a first envelope bottom (112B) and placing the first ice making bag (110) in a freezer to form first ice (118). The air channel functions to facilitate release of air previously entrapped in the pocket during filing.

摘要: The present invention is generally directed to novel functionalized biomolecules and methods for generating such biomolecules. Biomolecules may generally include nucleic acids, peptides, multicomponent molecular complexes and/or any other molecular products that may be produced by living organisms. The present invention is further directed to cells and/or organisms manipulated to produce such functionalized biomolecules. The cells contemplated by the present invention include both prokaryotic as well as eukaryotic cells. The functionalized biomolecules are produced via materials introduced into the cell using standard molecular biology techniques or are incorporated within the genomic nucleic acid of a cell by standard recombination techniques. Further contemplated is the use of such cells for sequestration of target molecules within the cells.

摘要: The present invention is directed to nucleic acid ligands to LL37, methods for producing said nucleic acid ligands, and methods for utilizing said nucleic acid ligands. In one exemplary embodiment, for example, this invention relates to nucleic acid ligands exhibiting high specific binding affinity to LL37 peptides, precursors and/or portions thereof. Further, the nucleic acid ligands may bind competitively with native ligands of LL37 and may also inhibit and/or interfere with LL37 function, such as by binding to LL37.
