摘要: A rebar movement-prevention-type one-touch coupler is configured to allow rebars to be fixed without a movement of the rebars after performing a one-touch insertion. A fixation of the rebars is completed by performing an additional tightening operation to housing units into which the rebars are inserted. The coupler increases both the fixation stability of the rebar and the safety of a structure employing the rebar.

摘要: Described herein is a coupling device, associated parts and a method of use thereof. In one aspect, a coupling device is described comprising a sleeve with an inner surface that encloses at least part of at least one elongated element to be coupled; and at least one deformation means fitted with interference between, and causing local deformation about, at least part of the inner surface of the sleeve and/or an adjacent outer surface of the at least one elongated element. A deformation means insertion tool, a coupling sleeve, a deformation means, and a method of coupling at least one element are also described. The described coupling device, associated parts and a method of use offer the ability to couple together different elements in a strong and/or ductile manner, coupling being tuneable as needed to suit the preferred application. The coupling described may overcome art issues associated with bulky size of coupling, in particular, radial protrusion. The coupling may also increase the coupling force therefore increase the load that may be managed across the coupling device. Further, the way the parts are assembled may minimise generation of localised points of stress therefore also increasing the load that may be managed across the coupling device.

摘要: An element for thermal insulation between two building parts, particularly between a building (A) and a protruding exterior part (B), comprising an insulating body (2) to be arranged between the two building parts and reinforcement elements in the form of at least tensile elements (3), extending in an installed state of the element (10) essentially horizontally and perpendicular to an essentially horizontal extension of the insulating body through said body, and respectively projecting in the horizontal direction from the insulating body and here allowing a connection to one of the two building parts preferably made from concrete. Here the tensile reinforcement elements (3) are formed as multi-part composite elements such that at least in the proximity of the insulating body (2) they have a central rod section (3a) made from fiber-reinforced synthetic material and have a separate anchoring rod section (3b) in an area outside the insulating body (2) with geometric and/or material characteristics at least partially deviating from the central rod section (3a), with the anchoring rod section (3b) and the central rod section being arranged at least essentially aligned to each other and at least indirectly fixed to each other, and with the anchoring rod section (3b) cooperating with an interior anchoring element for fixing at the central rod section (3a), which interior anchoring element engages a radially interior area of the central rod section. The central rod section (3a) comprises on its radial exterior an annular radial support element and/or a radial support area (3ab) with fibers (3f) extending at least partially in the circumferential direction of the central rod section (3a), with the interior anchoring section (3v) and the radial support area (3ab) at least partially overlapping each other.

摘要: A coupler or connector for joining bars, for example reinforcing bars, including an elongate rod member adapted to be inserted into a tubular sleeve member. The rod and sleeve members each have one or more transverse holes which align when the rod member is inserted into the sleeve member. In operational use, the rod and sleeve members are attached to the free ends of the bars to be connected. One or more transverse pins are then driven into the holes which are aligned in order to lock the rod and sleeve member together thereby connecting the bars. The pins can be spring loaded. There can be a plastic sleeve adapted to retain the pins in position. The plastic sleeve is slid off during assembly to allow the pins to engage the holes in the sleeve member(s).

摘要: Reinforcing is disclosed comprising a reinforcing bar extending along a portion of the length of the reinforcing and a termination extending along an end portion of the reinforcing. The termination may have a body extending in a longitudinal direction and a lateral engagement face formed on the body. The engagement face may incorporate locking formations thereon arranged to interfit with a complementary shaped termination to form an interlock arranged to accommodate loading applied in the longitudinal direction.

摘要: A coupling apparatus presses conical members having curved surfaces in a direction perpendicular to reinforcing bars by using hydraulic pressure, thereby considerably reducing working time for coupling reinforcing bars, completely securing the reinforcing bars and increasing compressive and bending strength. It is possible to stably carry force from the conical members through external force dispersion medium members to reinforcing bar securing members. Accordingly, there is a structural advantage of effectively preventing the displacement and the loosening of the coupled reinforcing bars.

摘要: An assembly for connecting a first rebar segment and a second rebar segment. The assembly includes a first wedge and second wedge, each defining a hollow for receiving the first and second rebar segments, respectively. A first barrel and a second barrel each define a passage for receiving the first and second wedges, respectively. The passages are tapered for mating engagement with the wedges for driving the wedges radially inwardly in response to the wedges being in the passages and axially engaged by the barrels to tighten the wedges about the rebar segments. A cap defines an opening, a stopping surface, and a channel that extends axially between the opening and the stopping surface, receiving the first and second barrels in axial alignment with one another. A coupling connects the cap and one of the barrels, inhibiting axial movement of the barrels out of the channel of the cap.
