    摘要: An electrowetting display comprises a support plate on which individual electrowetting pixels separated from one another by pixel walls are formed. The individual electrowetting pixels include an electrode layer on the support plate, a dielectric barrier layer on the electrode layer, a hydrophobic layer on the dielectric barrier layer, and quantum dots between the hydrophobic layer and the electrode layer. The quantum dots may utilize blue or white light illuminating the pixels to emit longer-wavelength colors such as red and green. Such a feature may enhance or replace functionality of color filters.
