Abstract:
A first compression stage and a second compression stage being arranged at positions adjacent to each other. The first centrifugal impeller and the second centrifugal impeller are arranged in such an orientation that back sides of the first centrifugal impeller and the second centrifugal impeller face to each other. A connection flow path is formed in the first housing and the second housing for introducing the compressed fluid from the first compression stage into the second compression stage. An upstream portion of the connection flow path is formed integrally with the first housing, and a downstream portion of the connection flow path is formed integrally with the second housing.
Abstract:
A molding die for efficiently molding a material for a synthetic resin molded foam at a high expansion ratio, a low density, and a high yield with the least occurrence of burrs or flashes. In this molding die, the upper die is mounted on the lower die to form an enclosed cavity therebetween. An opening portion is formed in the upper die, and a cylindrical chamber member with its head closed is air-tightly mounted on the upper die to cover the opening portion. A piston is provided in a chamber in the chamber member such that when a leading end portion of the piston is inserted in the opening portion, a micro-spacing for communicating the cavity to the chamber is formed between the leading end portion of the piston and the opening portion. A piston drive means for vertically moving the piston and for usually setting a leading end surface of the piston at a lower surface of the upper die is provided in the chamber. A pressure adjusting means is provided for evacuating air in the chamber to reduce a pressure in the chamber. In the molding die, when the air in the chamber is evacuated, air in the cavity is also evacuated through the micro-spacing.
Abstract:
A process for controlling the molten metal level in continuous thin slab casting in which molten metal poured from a large-sized tundish into a small-sized tundish through a sliding nozzle is caused to overflow from the small-sized tundish for casting through a tiltable casting spout into a twin-belt-type continuous casting machine is disclosed. The process comprises measuring the level of molten metal on the casting machine to provide a deviation signal representative of a deviation of the level of the molten metal from a target value; and adjusting a directly influencing factor on the molten metal level, such as a pouring rate of the molten metal into the mold and a pulling speed of the molten metal according to the deviation signal. Preferably, the process further comprises measuring the directly influencing factor to provide a deviation signal representative of the directly influencing factor relative to the normal value, and adjusting the degree of opening of the sliding nozzle of the large-sized tundish according to the deviation signal to regulate the pouring rate into the small-sized tundish.

A bridge according to an exemplary aspect of the invention comprises a BPDU-receiver which receives a BPDU packet of an STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) including failure information and an error-handler which performs error handling according to the failure information.
Abstract:
Provided are a back pad having comfortable riding feeling and an excellent supporting performance for an occupant even if its thickness is reduced, and a seat for a vehicle having the back pad. A back pad (1) comprises a lumber part (2), a back support part (3) on the upper side of the lumber part, and side parts (4, 4) disposed on both the left and right sides of the lumber part (2) and the back support part (3). The back pad (1) is made of polyurethane foam. Since the hysteretic loss of the back support part (3) is larger than that of the lumber part (2), the vibration absorbing performance of the lumber part (2) may be excellent. The hardness of the lumber part (2) is higher than that of the back support part (3) whereby the performance of supporting the lumber of the occupant may be excellent.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for describing an ACPI machine language table used in a computer system having a multibridge PCI structure, which enables an OS to support hot plugs for PCI devices subordinate to a PCI multibridge. Upon receiving a call requesting a resource information method for a PCI device from an ACPI driver on an OS, a PCI configuration access is made to a subordinate bridge in a PCI device side, so that the ACPI machine language table supplied from a BIOS returns resource information of the PCI device. A PCI configuration access is made to a superordinate bridge in a PCI system bus side, to obtain resource information of the subordinate bridge. The resource information of the subordinate bridge is obtained from the superordinate bridge, and secondary resource information is obtained from a PCI configuration space of the subordinate bridge.

A computer system includes multiple computer modules each including at least a calculator and a storing unit. A first computer module of the computer modules includes: a storing unit that stores authentication information for connection with a second computer module of the computer modules; an authenticator that authenticates an information processing device accessing the first computer module, and allows the information processing device to access thereto based on an authentication result; and a relay connector that connects the information processing device allowed to access the first computer module to the second computer module based on the authentication information.
Abstract:
A mold apparatus for producing a synthetic resin foam part has a mold assembly (1) including a lower mold (2), an upper mold (3) removably attached to the lower mold to define a closed space, and an insert (4) removably disposed in the closed space. The insert has a partition (6) which is faced to the upper mold through a gap (11). The partition defines a chamber (7) between the insert and the upper mold. The closed space excluding the chamber constitutes a cavity (8) into which a molding compound is introduced. A pressure regulator means (21) is provided for exhausting air from the chamber (7) to keep the chamber in a subatmospheric pressure whereby air in the cavity (8) is also exhausted through the gap. A foam part is produced by feeding a synthetic resin blow molding compound into the cavity (8) under atmospheric pressure, tightly closing the mold assembly, exhausting air from the chamber and from the cavity through the gap to establish a subatmospheric pressure in the cavity, and causing the molding compound to be blow molded.
