摘要: Revolving rollers, each provided on an outer peripheral surface thereof with revolving roller grooves extending therearound, are caused to mesh with a rack rod thread of a central rack rod with an axial angle over a lead angle of the rack rod thread and arranged for rotation on a holder member to be twisted. The holder member is rotated round the rack rod by a motor to translate the rack rod. A large thrust can be generated while ensuring a high reliability since a high efficiency is achieved by realizing rolling contact in set points of mesh of the rack rod thread and the revolving roller grooves, points of mesh are made planar, and interference in other points than the points of mesh can be suppressed. Also, play can be restricted by assembling the revolving rollers to the rack rod thread while applying torque in a direction, in which the axial angle is increased.

摘要: A power steering system for a vehicle. The system includes a hydraulic power cylinder, first and second hydraulic lines, a bypass passage through which the first and second hydraulic lines are connected with each other, and a flow passage change-over device adapted to close the bypass passage during steering assisting. A supply passage and a return passage are disposed in parallel with each other to form part of each of the first and second hydraulic lines. The flow passage change-over device is disposed in each of the first and second hydraulic lines. A differential pressure regulating valve is disposed in each of the return passages and adapted to allow hydraulic fluid to flow toward the hydraulic pressure source in a condition where pressure on side of the hydraulic power cylinder becomes higher than a set pressure or higher than pressure on side of the hydraulic pressure source.

A hydraulic power cylinder is provided for assisting a steering effort of the steering mechanism. A reversible pump is provided having first and second discharge ports which are respectively connected through first and second hydraulic lines with two hydraulic pressure chambers of the hydraulic power cylinder so that the two hydraulic pressure chambers are respectively provided with hydraulic pressures. A driving device is provided for driving the reversible pump to rightly and reversely rotate. A differential pressure regulating valve is disposed in the hydraulic circuit to maintain pressure at least in the first and second hydraulic lines at a level of atmospheric pressure or higher in an inoperative condition of the reversible pump.

According to the present invention, there is provided a method of analyzing double stranded DNA present in an analyte, which comprises the steps of: (1) contacting the analyte with a double stranded DNA recognizing substance immobilized on a support, and (2) measuring double stranded DNA bound to the double stranded DNA recognizing substance.

摘要: Disclosed are DNAs produced by recombinant techniques for inducing the expression and subsequent secretion of a target protein. The DNAs encode, in their 5' to 3' direction, a secretion cassette, including a signal sequence and an immunoglobulin Fc region, and a target protein. The DNAs can be transfected into a host cell for the expression, production and subsequent secretion of the target protein as a fusion protein. The secreted protein can be collected from the extracellular space, and further purified as desired. The secreted fusion protein additionally can be proteolytically cleaved to release the target protein from the secretion cassette.

摘要: An immunoassay element for quantitatively analyzing a ligand by determining the change in enzymatic activity caused by a reaction between the ligand, a linked product of the ligand and a high molecular weight compound and an enzyme-labelled antibody. The immunoassay element comprises a substrate layer containing a non-diffusible substrate which forms a diffusible material in the presence of the enzyme, and a reagent layer containing a fragmenting enzyme for further fragmenting the non-difussible material. Also provided is a process for quantitatively analyzing a ligand contained in a sample by the use of the immunoassay element.
