Abstract:
Disclosed is a two-way radio frequency (RF) communications system including a first device that receives, from a first subscriber unit, a virtual radio conferencing call (VRC) request identifying a plurality of other subscriber units to be partied to the VRC call and a conference time period during which to conduct the VRC call. The device reserves RF resources at one or more corresponding radio sites associated with the subscriber units partied to the VRC call for the conference time period. At a beginning of the conference time period, the device causes a virtual radio conference call start message to be transmitted to the subscriber units partied to the call instructing the subscriber units to join the VRC call via the reserved RF resources at their respective radio sites.
Abstract:
A cleaning device for scanner includes a handhold portion and a cleaning portion including a window cleaning surface. The handhold portion and the cleaning portion are fixed together, and the thickness of the handhold portion is larger than that of the cleaning portion. The cleaning portion further includes a loading body. The loading body can be a hard or flexible flat board that has a first end, which is fixed with the handhold portion, and a second end. The cleaning process of the cleaning device for the scanner is simple. The window cleaning surface can be replaceable or not and is cheap when manufactured, suitable for being used in any scanner having an immovable scanning module relative to its housing, and more practically, for cleaning the glass window and roller of small size and any portable scanner, so as to maintain scanning quality and scanning precision.
Abstract:
A printer of the invention includes a main body, an exit roller and at least one kicking mechanism. The exit roller is rotatably disposed on the main body and comprises a shaft and a rolling portion disposed on the shaft and rotated by the shaft to send paper out of the main body. The kicking mechanism is joined to the shaft and periodically exceeds the exit roller in a paper exit direction to kick the paper from the exit roller.
Abstract:
A film holder and a film scan module using the same and a multi-functional peripheral using the same are provided. The film holder is used in a multi-functional peripheral for fixing at least a film. The multi-functional peripheral comprises a cap body and a main body assembled thereon. The film holder comprises a board and a clip portion. The board is movably disposed on the undersurface of the cap body. The clip portion is disposed on the board for fixing the film. The film can be disposed on the board that is fixed on the undersurface of the cap body. When the cap body covers the main body, the cap body is against the board for pressing and making the film spread on the main body.
Abstract:
A method for the preparation of aryl methyl ketones converts a variety of ethyl arenas to the corresponding aryl methyl ketones using a dioxygen-containing gas as the oxidant. The catalyst used for the reaction is a metal complex bearing general formulas as disclosed.
Abstract:
A sheet-fed image scanning method and a scanning device thereof are provided. Firstly, a contact image sensor (CIS) scanning element is equipped with at least two sheet-feeding rollers respectively and passively connected with a driven roller, so that the to-be-scanned sheet is fed into/out between the sheet-feeding rollers and the driven rollers. Then, the to-be-scanned sheet is scanned by the CIS scanning element when the to-be-scanned sheet is fed in, and the driven roller is elastically ascended or descended according to the thickness of the to-be-scanned sheet. The invention enables non-contact or low-friction contact scanning between the scan glass window of the scanning device and the to-be-scanned sheet to avoid the to-be-scanned sheet being scratched or damaged and assure the constant-distance scanning to obtain high-quality scanned image. The position of the scanning element can be adjusted to the optimum scanning focal distance according to the thickness of the to-be-scanned sheet.
Abstract:
A sheet-fed scanning device with cleaning mechanism is provided. The sheet-fed scanning device includes a housing, a scanning module for scanning a fed-in document, and a cleaning curtain whose one end is fixed on the sheet-fed scanning device. The cleaning curtain is disposed in a sheet-fed direction at the front end of the scanning module, and the edge of the other end of the cleaning curtain is elastically in contact with the fed-in document for cleaning a to-be-scanned surface of the fed-in document. The invention is simple in structure and effective in cleaning the fed-in document. The cleaning mechanism does not cost much, but avoids the scanning quality being affected due to the large friction of the cleaning element. The cleaning mechanism ensures long-term cleanness of the to-be-scanned surface of the fed-in document as well as the cleanness of the glass window of the scanning module and the scanning quality.
Abstract:
A multi-function printer comprises a printing module, a scanning module, a supporter and a cam. The printing module has an accommodation portion and a supporting groove. The scanning module is rotatably disposed on the printing module. The supporter is rotatably disposed on the scanning module. The cam is rotatably disposed in the accommodation portion and capable of rotating between a first position and a second position. When the scanning module is rotated and opened, the cam rotates and guides the supporter to abut the supporting groove, whereby the scanning module is supported on the printing module. When the scanning module is rotated and closed, the cam rotates and guides the supporter to enter the accommodation portion.
Abstract:
A business machine. The business machine comprises a main body having a paper feed slot, an accommodating portion disposed around the paper feed slot and having a guide groove, and a tray loading paper and slidably joined with the guide groove to be positioned in a first position and a second position. When the tray is positioned in the first position, a predetermined angle is formed between the tray and the main body. When the tray is in a second position, the tray is parallel to the guide groove and accommodated in the accommodating portion.
Abstract:
A printer. The printer comprises a base having an incline surface for paper on which a depression is formed, a shaft disposed above the incline surface, an arm pivoted on the shaft, a pick-up roller disposed on the tip of the arm, and a free arm with one end pivoted on the arm and the other end free. When the paper on the incline surface runs out, the free arm is rotated and the free end enters and abuts the depression, whereby the arm is supported by the free arm to maintain an appropriate distance to the incline surface.
