Abstract: The invention is a device and method for detecting an analyte in a medium. An exciting light source produces an exciting light wave, which propagates to the medium and heats the latter. The device comprises a transducer for detecting the heating of the medium. According to one embodiment, the transducer is a thermal transducer, configured to detect a variation in the temperature of the medium. According to another embodiment, the transducer is an acoustic transducer, configured to detect a photoacoustic wave propagating from the medium. Whatever the embodiment, the transducer employs a membrane, on which a waveguide is placed. The waveguide comprises a resonant optical cavity. Transduction is achieved by analyzing a variation in a resonant wavelength of the optical cavity.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an image projection device for projecting an image onto an eye, includes an emission surface S. Abstract: A pancreatic cell receiving matrix including a semi-permeable wall and a porous body including a first set of cavities including pancreatic cells, and a second set of cavities free of pancreatic cells. The first set of cavities and the second set of cavities are not fluidically connected to one another. The cavity or cavities left free of cells create paths for the nutrients and gases to diffuse in the matrix, and they form a nutrient and gas reserve area in the matrix. The matrix limits and preferably prevents nutrient and gas depletion of the pancreatic cells. Their mortality is therefore reduced, allowing better insulin delivery.

A process may prepare such a solid polymer electrolyte film it may be used in an electrochemical system, in particular a lithium battery.

Abstract: A method for preparing a microelectronic component includes cleaning of the surface of an exposed layer with a basis of a III-V material by a cyclic plasma treatment, each cycle comprising a purge phase and a plasma treatment phase. During the formation of the plasma, a bias voltage is applied to the substrate. The method further includes depositing, on the cleaned surface, a subsequent layer. The method provides an optimal cleaning of the exposed layer while minimising, and preferably avoiding degradation of the structure. The preparation method thus makes it possible to improve the quality of the interface between the layer with a basis of a III-V material and the subsequent layer. The electrical properties of the component are consequently improved.
