    Abstract: A monitoring system for a power line structure includes a system for harvesting electrical energy from electric fields emanating from the power line. The monitoring system includes a weather resistant enclosure configured to be mounted near the power line. The electrical energy harvesting system includes an electric field antenna configured to receive electric fields emanating from the power line, an electrical energy harvesting circuit mounted within the enclosure and an earth ground connector configured to couple the harvesting circuit to an earth ground connection by direct connection or via a capacitive structure. An energy storage device is also electrically coupled to the harvesting circuit. The monitoring system further includes a sensor system electrically coupled to the harvesting system. The sensor system is configured to sense a condition and transmit corresponding condition data.

    Abstract: This application provides an ear temperature data processing method and an electronic device. The method includes: In a first time period, a first electronic device is connected to a headset, the headset collects ear temperature data, and the first electronic device logs in to a first application by using a first account. In a second time period, in which a connection status between the first electronic device and the headset is “disconnected”, the headset collects ear temperature data. In a third time period, a second electronic device logs in to the first application by using a second account. In a fourth time period, the first electronic device is connected to the headset, and the first electronic device displays a second interface of the first application, where the second interface does not include the ear temperature data collected by the headset in the second time period.

    Abstract: An operating theatre light comprising at least one environmental sensor. The operating theatre light includes a sensor housing attached to the operating theatre light.     Abstract: A controller for a power converter includes an output terminal operative to output a modulation signal for controlling a phase current of the power converter. A modulator is operative to generate the modulation signal such that an output voltage of the power converter follows a first portion of a load-line when load current is above a first threshold, the first portion of the load-line having a first slope that determines a rate of change of the output voltage as a function of the load current. An interface is operative to receive a temperature signal. Circuitry is operative to change the first threshold in response to receipt of the temperature signal.

    Abstract: A wireless temperature monitor probe includes a spike for insertion into an object for which a core temperature is to be monitored and a head at a proximal end of the spike. A sensor inductor coil is in the head and is used for wireless interrogation by an external detector unit to determine the core temperature. The spike axis is not in the plane of the inductor coil in the head, for example so that there is a bend between them. This makes it easier to insert the spike while maintaining a desired orientation of the head, in particular to enable correct communication with the remote detector unit. In addition, it enables the head to be positioned against the object so that the probe takes up a minimum amount of space.
