Abstract: A refrigeration arrangement for traction vehicles includes a first closed circuit configured as a compression refrigeration machine containing a refrigerant as a first carrier medium, evaporator and condenser. The evaporator absorbs heat into the first circuit. The condenser transfers heat from the first circuit. The first circuit is coupled, via the evaporator, to a closed second circuit containing a liquid second carrier medium for heat transport. The second circuit, for cooling, takes heat and transfers it to the second carrier medium. The heat is conveyed, by the second carrier medium, to the evaporator for transfer to the first circuit. The first circuit is coupled, via the condenser, to a closed third circuit containing a liquid third carrier medium for heat transport. The third circuit causes heat from the first circuit, transferred into the third circuit by the condenser, to be transferred to surroundings with heat from traction systems.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include an insulation system. An example includes a polymer blend in the form of a solid two-dimensional insulation material, a material for wire insulation by means of extrusion and/or an injection-molded and/or compression-molded article. The blend is resistant to partial discharges and at least partly replaces any mica content in the insulation system. The blend comprises at least three blend partners including at least one copolymer based on polyetherimide and siloxane blended with at least two high-temperature thermoplastics. At least of one the high-temperature thermoplastics is in semicrystalline form, such that spherulites are detectable in the polymer blend.

Abstract: A method for measuring a parameter relevant to a journey of a rail vehicle. A parameter measurement value is determined using a control loop. A vehicle-side torque acting on a rotational part on the vehicle side is ascertained. A calculation module uses the vehicle-side torque value and a frictional engagement torque acting between the rotational part and a rail, to calculate a rotational acceleration of the rotational part and an expected rotational speed. A difference between the rotational estimated value and an actual rotational speed is supplied to a control device which outputs a controller output value at the output side. A frictional engagement torque value is recalculated with the controller output value and is coupled back into the computer module to close the control loop. The controller output and/or the recalculated frictional engagement torque value is considered the parameter measurement value, which is stored or output.

A method for monitoring electrical braking resistors of a vehicle is also provided.
