摘要: In an air conditioner for a vehicle with an equipment controlled in accordance with a traveling state of the vehicle, a first heater is disposed to heat air to be blown into a vehicle compartment by using a coolant of the equipment as a heat source, and a second heater is adapted as an auxiliary heater to further heat the air heated by the first heater. A heating capacity of the first heater is controlled such that a temperature of the equipment is approached to a predetermined temperature when the thermal fluid after passing through the first heater returns the equipment, and a heating capacity of the second heater is controlled such that a temperature of air to be blown into the vehicle compartment becomes a desired temperature.

摘要: If a refrigerant leaks from an interior heat exchanger, an outside air mode is switched ON, and a first bypass channel is opened to supply air, not having passed through the interior heat exchanger, to a passenger compartment through a defroster opening portion, while also supplying air, having passed through the internal heat exchanger, to the passenger compartment through a foot opening portion. Consequently, air having passed through the first bypass channel and thereby containing a considerable quantity of outside air free from the leaked refrigerant is supplied to the upper side of the passenger compartment, while air having passed through the interior heat exchanger and thereby containing the leaked refrigerant is supplied to the lower side of the passenger compartment, which makes it possible to prevent driver inhalation of the refrigerant.

摘要: A thermal expansion valve for automotive coolant systems which is significantly more compact than previously developed expansion values. The housing of the expansion valve is divided into a first housing formed in a cylindrical shape with a bottom and a second housing formed in a columnar shape. The first housing is fit into the second housing, and both are integrally connected to each other. A temperature sensing mechanism having a temperature sensing chamber and an expansion mechanism for adjusting an opening degree of a throttle passage in accordance with an evaporator outlet temperature sensed by the temperature sensing means are disposed in the second housing. First and fourth joint portions connected to inlet and outlet refrigerant pipes of the evaporator, respectively, are at the bottom of the first housing. On the other hand, second and third joint portions connected to a compressor suction side refrigerant pipe and a high-pressure side refrigerant pipe from a receiver, respectively, are at an outer surface of the second housing. In this manner the overall size of the expansion valve is reduced considerably, thus saving valuable space in an engine compartment of a vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle temperature control apparatus for controlling temperature of a temperature control object, which is at least one of inside air of a vehicle compartment and a vehicle component, includes a heat capacitive element capable of storing heat, a refrigeration cycle in which heat is absorbed from a low temperature side and is dissipated to a high temperature side, a heat exchanger that causes the heat capacitive element to exchange heat with refrigerant of the refrigeration cycle, and a heat dissipation portion which dissipates heat in the refrigerant of the refrigeration cycle to the temperature control object. Thus, a temperature control by using the heat capacitive element can be effectively performed.

摘要: A vehicular thermo-control device adjusts a temperature of a battery. The device has a primary system through which cooling water circulates, and a secondary system through which a refrigerant circulates. The primary system has a heat exchanger which performs heat exchange between the battery and the cooling water, and a heat exchanger which performs heat exchange between the cooling water and an ambient air. The secondary system is a refrigerating cycle. Both heat exchangers on a high temperature side and a low temperature side of the refrigerating cycle are thermally coupled with the primary system. Only one heat exchanger provides heat exchange with the ambient air. The pump of the primary system can switch circulating direction of the cooling water. A controller controls devices to perform cooling and heating operation.

摘要: A heat exchanger includes a heat exchanging section for performing heat exchange between a refrigerant and a cooling medium and a passage section. The passage section includes a first passage and a second passage for supplying the refrigerant to the heat exchanging section and a supply passage for supplying the refrigerant to the first passage and the second passage. The first passage and the second passage define a first opening portion and a second opening portion opening at an end of the supply passage. A minimum distance between an opening edge of the first opening portion and an inner surface of the supply passage is equal to a minimum distance between an opening edge of the second opening portion and the inner surface of the supply passage.

The first and second heating heat exchangers are arranged in parallel with respect to a flow direction of the cooling fluid. In the air conditioner, the controller controls a flow amount of the cooling fluid flowing into the second heating heat exchanger to be, smaller than a flow amount of the cooling fluid flowing into the first heating heat exchanger when the heater heats the cooling fluid flowing to the second heating heat exchanger.

摘要: An evaporator for cooling apparatus according to the present invention includes a cooled flow passages in a heat exchanging portion and a bypass flow passage bypassing the heat exchanging portion between a receiver for reducing the pressure (pressure P1) of liquefied refrigerant condensed by a condenser and an evaporator, which communicates in parallel with each other. A valve element is disposed in the bypass flow passage, and opens the bypass passage when the pressure P1 is equal to or less than a predetermined pressure where a refrigerant temperature within the cooled flow passage is more than a refrigerant temperature within a cooling flow passage when the refrigerant is introduced into the heat exchanging portion and where a refrigerant dryness is less than a predetermined value when the refrigerant is not introduced into the heat exchanging portion and pressure thereof is reduced directly to the refrigerant pressure within the evaporating portion. Thereby, the reverse heat exchange is prevented and a good heat exchange efficiency can be achieved for all the range of P1.
