摘要: A puncture needle cartridge 20 detachably mounted on a puncturing device body to form a puncturing device is provided with a needle body 21 having a puncturing portion 212a, and also with a casing 22 for housing the needle body 21 and having openings 223, 224 that are respectively formed in front of and behind the needle body 21. The needle body 21 is mounted so as to be movable between a retracted position, wherein the tip 212c of the puncturing portion is retraced in the casing 22, and an extended position, wherein the tip 212c of the puncturing portion is projected outward from the casing 22 by receiving a pressing force from the puncturing device body. The needle body 21 has a biasing means for biasing the needle body 21 from an extended position towards a retracted position. The puncture needle cartridge can be mass-produced at low cost, and enables a user to perform puncturing safely and easily.

摘要: An apparatus for containing sampled liquid includes: a substrate 11; and a puncture portion 13, integral with the substrate 11, and that projects out of the substrate 11 for insertion into an organism. The puncture portion 13 includes a collection channel 17, and the substrate 11 includes a storage channel 15 in communication with the collection channel 17. The collection channel 17 collects a compositional bodily fluid, and the storage channel 15 stores the compositional bodily fluid transferred thereto by capillary action. The storage channel 15 includes an inflecting portion or a branched portion shaped to enable capillary action transfer of the compositional bodily fluid. At least an innermost portion 36 of the storage channel 15 farthest from the collection channel 17 is open to atmosphere.

摘要: One of aspects of the present invention is to provide a medical lancet, which includes a first ascending region, a descending region, and a second ascending region subsequently and integrally formed of biodegradable material. Those regions extend from a point of the lancet in a predetermined direction, and each of the regions having triangular cross sections taken along any planes perpendicular to the predetermined direction. The first and second ascending regions have the triangular cross sections of which area monotonically increases as being away from the point. Also, the descending region has the triangular cross sections of which area monotonically decreases as being away from the point. The first and second ascending regions have the largest cross section having substantially the same size and shape to each other.

摘要: One of the aspects of the present invention is to provide a medical needle extending along a predetermined direction and having a vertical cross-section taken along a plane perpendicular to the predetermined direction of which cross-sectional area varies based upon a distance from a needle tip. The medical needle includes a plurality of maximal points where the cross-sectional area of the vertical cross-section is locally maximal, and a plurality of minimal points where the cross-sectional area of the vertical cross-section is locally minimal. The vertical cross-section at the maximal point closest to the needle tip has the cross-sectional area not less than those at any other maximal points.

摘要: Provided are a medical needle and a puncturing instrument which make it possible to administer a predetermined amount of a substance to be administered into a living body and/or collect a predetermined amount of an object to be collected from within the living body with ease and accuracy. A medical needle (1) is provided with a puncturing part (10) which can penetrate into the living body. The puncturing part (10) has a pair of planar portions (12, 12) which are parallel to each other in an outer surface and a retaining chamber (18) defined within the puncturing part (10), the retaining chamber (18) passing through the puncturing part (10) and opening to the pair of planar portions (12) on each side. A puncturing instrument can be structured by accommodating the medical needle (1) in a casing in such a way that the medical needle (1) can project therefrom.

摘要: The disclosed air conditioner comprises a suction and an exhaust blower connected to a common electric motor and disposed on a suction and an exhaust passageway adjacent to a suction and an exhaust port on the outdoor side respectively. The suction passageway crosses the exhaust passageway in a heat exchanger and is connected to an indoor exhaust port. A humidifier is disposed between the heat exchanger and an indoor suction ports to humidify and cooler the sucked indoor air within the heat exchanger. Also a reclaimable dehumidifier may be disposed adjacent to the suction blower to decrease the humidity of the sucked outdoor air.
