    摘要: The invention concerns a method for producing integrated, diagnostic test elements (1) which have a lancing area (2) and a detection area (3). The lancing area is used to generate an opening in the skin and the detection area is used to detect an analyte in a body fluid. The selective sterilization sterilizes the lancing area but not the detection area by electron radiation. The method according to the invention comprises the steps of screening the detection area on the test element against electron radiation and subsequently irradiating the test element with electron radiation. The invention additionally concerns a method according to the invention in which the test elements and lancing areas are in a connected arrangement and are brought into the radiation area by moving the entire arrangement. Finally the invention concerns a diagnostic test element which has been produced according to the inventive method.

The puncturing part (10) has a pair of planar portions (12, 12) which are parallel to each other in an outer surface and a retaining chamber (18) defined within the puncturing part (10), the retaining chamber (18) passing through the puncturing part (10) and opening to the pair of planar portions (12) on each side. A puncturing instrument can be structured by accommodating the medical needle (1) in a casing in such a way that the medical needle (1) can project therefrom.

    摘要: A lancet housing assembly includes multiple lancets for use in a portable handheld medical diagnostic device for sampling bodily fluids from a skin site of a patient. The lancet housing assembly includes a housing structure comprising multiple lancet compartments. At least one of the lancet compartments includes an outer facing side and an inner facing side. An opening is located at the outer facing side that is arranged and configured to align with a lancet port of the medical diagnostic device. A lancet structure is located in the at least one lancet compartment and comprises a skin penetrating end and a blood transport portion adjacent the skin penetrating end. The lancet structure has (i) an initial configuration where the lancet structure is supported to align the skin penetrating end with the opening to allow the skin penetrating end to extend through the opening and (ii) a retracted configuration where the skin penetrating end moves to a position within the lancet compartment offset from the opening to prevent the lancet structure from extending through the opening.
