    摘要: Room heating apparatus having a burner disposed in the upper part of a body to which air for combustion is forcibly supplied from a blower, a heat exchanger and a combustion chamber serially connected below the burner, and a second blower for recycling air from the room over the outer surfaces of the heat exchanger and the combustion chamber being disposed in the bottom of the body. The combustion chamber and the heat exchanger are substantially flat-shaped in configuration being on the order of ten times their thickness in both height and width.Accordingly, the room heating apparatus is a compact heating unit having high thermal efficiency, and the blower for recycling air can be protected from damage due to heat of the burner, even in the event the blower is accidentally stopped.

    摘要: The disclosed air conditioner comprises a suction and an exhaust blower connected to a common electric motor and disposed on a suction and an exhaust passageway adjacent to a suction and an exhaust port on the outdoor side respectively. The suction passageway crosses the exhaust passageway in a heat exchanger and is connected to an indoor exhaust port. A humidifier is disposed between the heat exchanger and an indoor suction ports to humidify and cooler the sucked indoor air within the heat exchanger. Also a reclaimable dehumidifier may be disposed adjacent to the suction blower to decrease the humidity of the sucked outdoor air.

    摘要: A heat exchanger for a Stirling engine has a domed cylinder which serves as a high-temperature cylinder and a regenerator housing. The domed cylinder has a smoothly-changing cross-sectional shape so that stress concentrations will not develop therein. A thin inner liner which is inserted into the domed cylinder divides the inside of the domed cylinder into an expansion space and a regenerator space. A cylindrical regenerator is coaxially disposed inside the regenerator space. A cylindrical cooler is coaxially disposed below the regenerator with its inner surface forming the outer periphery of the compression space of the engine. The expansion space and the regenerator space are connected with one another by a plurality of heater tubes which are secured to the domed cylinder.

    摘要: The disclosed airconditioner has a refrigerant compressor connected to a refrigerant circuit through a four-way valve in each of the room cooling mode and a first room warming mode of operation. The refrigerant circuit has an indoor heat exchanger, an externally heated heat exchanger, a piping, a first electromagnetic valve and an outdoor heat exchanger connected in series. A second electromagnetic valve is connected in parallel to the outdoor heat exchanger between the piping and the four-way valve to form the refrigerant circuit along with the indoor heat exchanger, the externally heated heat exchanger and the piping for the second room warming mode of operation. During the room cooling mode and first room warming mode of operation, the first electromagnetic valve is opened and the piping and the externally heated heat exchanger hold an amount of liquid refrigerant equal to the volume of the outdoor heat exchanger, while in the second room warming mode of operation in which the second electromagnetic valve and an electromagnetic valve connected across the compressor are open the outdoor heat exchange is filled with liquid refrigerant.

    摘要: A seal mechanism for a Stirling engine has an upper and lower piston ring mounted on a displacer piston with a space therebetween and at least one piston ring mounted on a power piston. The seals produced by the piston rings of the displacer piston are given directionality in opposite directions so that the pressure within the space between the upper and lower piston rings is always higher or lower than the pressure within the expansion space and the compression space of the engine. In a preferred embodiment, the displacer piston rings each comprise two loosely-fitting outer rings which surround an inner ring. Air vents are formed in one surface of each of the inner rings between the center and the outer surface of the inner ring. The inner rings of the upper and lower piston rings are oriented so that the air vents face in opposite directions. Means for imparting directionality in the same direction to the seals produced by the power piston rings may also be provided.
