Abstract:
The invention relates to a column (1), with a section (9), in which a filling (10) is arranged in the form of a large number of fillers or a packing, a liquid distributor (100) for distributing a liquid (F) on that filling (10), a distribution space (101) of the liquid distributor (100), via which the liquid (F) can be distributed to that filling (10) of the column (1). According to the invention, it is provided that in the distribution space (101) of the liquid distributor (100), an additional means (20) is arranged, which forms a large number of passages (21) for the liquid (F) that is to be distributed.
Abstract:
A vent cap for a container of housing which accommodates a hydraulic operating medium. The vent cap includes a housing type cover which has labyrinth walls. The cover is adapted to be closed by a base insert which includes a vent passage. The vent cap is adapted to be mounted on a vent opening of the container or housing. The housing type cover is rotatably mounted on the base insert.
Abstract:
A collector-distributor combination in a column, which is filled with a random packed bed or with a structured packing, is disclosed. The liquid phase is guided over a collector with inclined planes to a central opening, which is connected to an ascending pipe, from which the liquid phase is distributed to the plane underneath via the distributor pipes. By guaranteeing a constant filling level of the liquid phase in the ascending pipe, the distributor functions as a pressure distributor. The liquid phase is distributed independent of the inclination of the column over the entire length of the distributor pipes. The gaseous phase passes through the collector via the chimney.
Abstract:
A stereotactic adapter on which a surgical therapeutic and/or diagnostic instrument is reproducibly mounted and attached to a surgical microscope that can be positioned in several spatial degrees of freedom. A position recognition system integrated in the surgical microscope permits safe positioning of the instrument used, given the geometric arrangement and the geometric dimensions of the surgical microscope, the adapter, and the instrument.
Abstract:
A device is provided for influencing starting of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle that has an electronically controlled gearbox, an electrically acting interlock that prevents the internal combustion engine from being put into operation when a gearbox status causing a driving force connection is selected, and a starter with an electromagnetic disengagement switch that is suppliable with battery current from an ignition switch during actuation of the starter. The device has an electronic engine control unit for at least one of ignition and metering of fuel, with a communicative connection communicatively connecting the engine control unit to the gearbox control. A direct connection is provided from the ignition switch to the electromagnetic disengagement switch for supplying battery current to the electromagnetic disengagement switch without an intermediate disabling switch. A recorder records the position of an element influencing the gear-selection status of the gearbox and transmits a corresponding signal to the gearbox control. The gearbox control acts upon the engine control unit via the communicative connection to disable at least one of the ignition and the fuel metering when the element influencing the gear-selection status of the gearbox is in a position which normally effects a driving force connection through the gearbox.
Abstract:
A locking cap for an oil gauge pipe which includes a gauge rod mounted thereon, with the gauge rod being adapted to be inserted into the oil gauge pipe. An eccentric level arrangement is provided for locking the locking cap at the oil gauge pipe while a sealing ring is pressed between the locking cap and a flange of the oil gauge pipe. The eccentric lever is mounted on the locking cap and, in a locking position, reaches under the flange of the oil gauge pipe. In a locked position, the locking cap rests against the flange with the sealing ring being interposed between an inner surface of the locking cap and the flange.
Abstract:
In a pressure-regulating arrangement for the control pressure of a shifting arrangement of a change-speed transmission, a slide valve member is actuatable by an adjusting sleeve connected with a control member of a driving engine by way of a pressure member. A hydraulic damping device with two mutually relatively movable damping parts of the piston-cylinder-type construction is provided in which one damping part is adapted to be supported with respect to the housing and the other is actuatable by way of the pressure member and damping medium is thereby displaced against the action of a throttle. In order to improve the control behavior by decoupling the damping function from the control slide valve member, the damping device is arranged at the end face of the control slide valve member facing the pressure member and the damping part movable relative to the housing is connected with the pressure member while a damping chamber enclosed between the damping parts is connected by way of a relief valve with a space under atmospheric pressure.
Abstract:
A guide device for guiding a movable part of an apparatus relative to a fixed part of the apparatus, includes a first guide rail adapted to be provided on the movable part and a second guide rail adapted to be provided on the fixed part. Bearing means comprising a plurality of roller elements disposed in a roller support is disposed in a longitudinal groove between the first and second guides and movable relative thereto. Biasing means is provided which biases the bearing means toward a predetermined position.
