摘要: A device having a flashlight and spray implement. The device including a lens part disposed proximate a front portion of the device. A discharge trigger implement is configured to slide longitudinally along with a spray canister to discharge the contents of the spray canister. A discharge arm portion operably slides the spray canister upon a force applied to the discharge trigger implement. A canister access screw implement is configured to pull said spray canister forward, and wherein the canister access screw implement is further configured to allow a removal and replacement of the spray canister. A lens nozzle part engages a center portion of the lens part to allow the contents of the spray canister to shoot out of the center portion of the lens part. A safety button implement is configured to guard against an accidental discharge of the contents of the spray canister.

摘要: To record events, a vector A is taken of n measurements An. Each measurement An is converted into a binary vector Bn using a binning process. Measurements in vector Bn, are transformed using a kernel operation, to make a vector Cn. All vectors Cn are concatenated into a single vector D. A binary vector M is created with P bits set. A date and vector A are recorded against vector M in a database Z. Vector D is associated into a correlation matrix memory R against vector M. To recall events, the above steps are repeated up to concatenating all vectors Cn into single vector D. Vector D is then used to access a correlation matrix memory R to recall an association vector S, and vector S is applied directly or indirectly to database Z to recover the or each date associated with vector S. This may facilitate the monitoring of assets such as generators, gas turbines, motors, and larger assets such as trains, boats and planes, to ensure that they continue to operate reliably.

摘要: A computer device and method are described for controlling access to a resource. An execution environment executes a user process with access privileges according to a user security context. A security unit controls access to resources according to the user security context, with the user process making system calls to the security unit. A proxy hook module embedded within the user process intercepts the system call and generates a proxy resource access request. A proxy service module in a privileged security context validates the proxy resource access request from the proxy hook module and, if validated, obtains and returns a resource handle that permits access to the desired resource by the user process.

摘要: A computer device provides an execution environment that supports a plurality of processes. A plurality of key resources are associated with a security application that may perform process elevation to grant privileged access rights to a user process. A security module controls access to the key resources using an access control list. An anti-tamper mechanism creates a protection group as a local security group and adds a deny access control entry to the access control list. The anti-tamper mechanism intercepts the user process and creates a revised access token identifying the user process as a member of the protection group. The security module matches the protection group in the revised access token of the user process against the deny access control entry in the access control list of the key resources thereby restricting access by the user process even though the user process otherwise has privileges to access those resources.

摘要: A method of delivering event notifications includes receiving data from a network-based calendar system at a notification system. The data indicates that a notification related to a calendar-based event is to be sent to a subscriber. The method also includes receiving presence information related to the subscriber from a presence system. The presence information indicates whether the subscriber is present at one or more of a plurality of subscriber devices. The plurality of subscriber devices includes a set-top box device. Further, the method includes sending an event notification related to the calendar-based event to the set-top box device when the presence information indicates that the subscriber is present at the set-top box device.

摘要: One exemplary embodiment can be a process for upgrading one or more hydrocarbons boiling in a naphtha range including less than about 5%, by weight, one or more alkenes and about 2,000-about 5,000 wppm, S, comprised in one or more sulfur-containing compounds, based on the weight of the one or more hydrocarbons. The process can include contacting the one or more hydrocarbons with a catalyst. The catalyst may include about 0.1-about 10%, by weight, NiO, about 5-about 50%, by weight, MoO3, and about 0.1-about 10%, by weight, P, with the balance of the catalyst comprising Al2O3. The process can obtain an upgraded one or more hydrocarbons having a thiol concentration of no more than about 20 wppm, S, based on the sulfur comprised in one or more thiol compounds divided by the weight of the upgraded one or more hydrocarbons.
