摘要: An example image processing device obtains first images capturing a street, on which a target vehicle is running, from a plurality of directions, and position information indicating positions at which the first images are taken, and associates a background object in a second image with a background object in a third image. The second image is an image which the target object is detected from and the third image is an image which is taken by an imaging device having a common imaging range with the second image among imaging devices mounted on the target vehicle. An output image is generated to include the position information indicating a position at which the second image is taken, the image of the detection rectangle which is clipped from the second image and includes the target object and the background object, and the first image of surroundings of the target vehicle.

摘要: A process for fixed camera and unmanned mobile device collaboration is disclosed in order to improve identification of an object of interest. A first point of view (POV) of a captured object is obtained and it is determined, with a first level of certainty, that the captured first POV of the object matches a stored object of interest. A dispatch instruction and intercept information is then wirelessly broadcast for receipt by camera-equipped unmanned mobile vehicles within a broadcast range for identifying and intercepting the object. Subsequently, a captured second POV of the first captured object is received via the one or more camera-equipped unmanned mobile vehicles. The captured second POV of the captured object is used to determine, with a second level of certainty, that the captured object matches the stored object of interest.

摘要: A vehicular vision and alert system includes a camera disposed at a windshield of a vehicle so as to have a field of view forward of the vehicle as the vehicle travels along a traffic lane of a road. Other vehicles traveling along another traffic lane of multiple traffic lanes of the road travel in a direction opposite to the direction of travel of the vehicle as the vehicle travels along its traffic lane. With the camera disposed at the vehicle, the system determines a traffic pattern of the other vehicles traveling along the other traffic lane. Responsive at least in part to the determined traffic pattern of the other vehicles traveling along the other traffic lane, the system transmits a traffic alert communication to a remote system, and the traffic alert communication is indicative of the determined traffic pattern of the other vehicles traveling along the other traffic lane.

摘要: Implementations described and claimed herein provide localization systems and methods using surface imaging. In one implementation, a raw image of a target surface is captured using at least one imager. The raw image is encoded into a template using at least one transform. The template specifies a course direction and an intensity gradient at one or more spatial frequencies of a pattern of the target surface. The template is compared to a subset of reference templates selected from a gallery stored in one or more storage media. A location of the target surface is identified when the template matches a reference template in the subset.

In some examples, a method may include generating control actions for traffic signals at an intersection based on Q-learning, determining a frequency of change in traffic pattern of the intersection, and adjusting a learning rate of the Q-learning based on the determined frequency of change in traffic pattern of the intersection. The Q-learning may determine the generated control actions based on at least a portion of historical traffic data of the intersection, and the change in traffic pattern may be a change from a first traffic pattern of the intersection to a second traffic pattern of the intersection.

摘要: An image capturing method with supplemental lighting modulation is applied to a monitoring apparatus having a lighting unit and an image detecting unit. The image capturing method includes dividing a working period of the lighting unit into at least one first sub-period and at least one second sub-period, driving the lighting unit to respectively output supplemental light with different intensity during the first sub-period and the second sub-period, driving the image detecting unit to respectively capture a set of monitoring images with a predetermined amount during the first sub-period and the second sub-period, comparing the monitoring image captured in the first sub-period with ones captured in the second sub-period, analyzing definition of the set of monitoring images, and selecting a corresponding monitoring image having the definition greater than a threshold to execute image recognition.
