摘要: A method of forming a uniform-thickness good-quality protective film with scratch-proofness and ultraviolet cutting characteristic on a plastic part having a diversified and complex three-dimensional shape without wasteful release of an organic solvent, or the like, into the atmosphere. In a plasma chemical vapor deposition apparatus, the shape of at least one part of a surface of a cathode provided in a reaction chamber is made coincident with the shape of a surface of a plastic part such as a car headlamp lens, or the like. The plastic part is attached to the cathode in the condition that the two surfaces coincident in shape come into contact with each other. High-frequency electric power is supplied between the cathode and the reaction chamber while a hydrogen gas and hexamethyldisilane (HMDS) as a raw material gas for forming a protective film are imported into the reaction chamber. Thus, a protective film is formed on the surface of the plastic part by vapor deposition.

摘要: A lamp for use in adverse conditions such as in a headlamp for a vehicle includes a coating for preventing mist, condensation or other haze from forming on a front lens and/or for preventing discoloration of the front lens caused by UV light emitted from a light source. The lamp has a discharge-lamp bulb serving as the light source, the discharge-lamp bulb being disposed in the lamp chamber. The lamp chamber can be defined by the lamp body and the front lens. The coating can comprise an anti-haze/UV film that is prepared by mixing a UV absorbing material with an anti-haze material.

摘要: A fluidity improver for a PC resin that improves the melt fluidity during molding without impairing the excellent properties of the PC resin, and also yields a molded product in which external appearance defects are unlikely. The fluidity improver for an aromatic polycarbonate resin according to the present invention is including a first polymer obtained by polymerizing 0.5 to 99.5 parts by mass of a monomer first mixture including 0.5 to 99.5% by mass of styrene and 0.5 to 99.5% by mass of phenyl (meth)acrylates, in the presence of a second polymer obtained by polymerizing 0.5 to 99.5 parts by mass of a second monomer mixture containing 0.5 to 50% by mass of α-methylstyrene, 0.5 to 99% by mass of styrene and 0.5 to 99% by mass of phenyl (meth)acrylates, wherein the combined total of both monomer mixtures is 100 parts by mass.
