    摘要: An image processing device is provided. The image processing device includes a calculator and a controller. The calculator performs a block matching algorithm based on a difference between first image data of a macroblock and second image data of each of a plurality of blocks in a search range. The controller generates a motion vector used for motion compensation based on a result of the block matching algorithm and alternately changes a scan direction of the second image data at an interval of one horizontal period in a frame. The image processing device shares the second image data, which is repeatedly used during the block matching algorithm, in a horizontal direction.

    摘要: Provided are frame interpolation apparatus and methods in which motion estimation is performed by separation into a static object and a moving object. The frame interpolation apparatus interpolates multiple frames including an nth frame and an (n−1)th frame located adjacent the nth frame in order to generate an interpolation frame. Some embodiments of the apparatus include a static object separation unit, a motion vector (MV) estimation unit, and an interpolation frame generation unit. The static object separation unit may compare a macroblock (MB) of the nth frame with an MB of the (n−1)th frame, which may correspond to the MB of the nth frame, in order to separate each MB of the nth frame into a static object and a moving object. The MV estimation unit may search in the (n−1)th frame for an MB that matches with each of MBs of the nth frame, which may be determined to be the moving object, to estimate an MV. The interpolation frame generation unit may generate the interpolation frame using the estimated MV, the nth frame, and the (n−1)th frame.

The display driving device comprises an encoder that compresses PenTile® matrix encoded input image data using a binary encoding scheme and a DPCM encoding scheme, calculates errors produced by each encoding scheme, and selects an encoding scheme mode and its compressed data according to the calculated errors. A decoder decompresses the compressed data according to a decoding scheme corresponding to the selected encoding scheme mode. And a source driver drives source lines connected with a display panel based on decompressed data.

    摘要: Provided are frame interpolation apparatus and methods in which motion estimation is performed by separation into a static object and a moving object.
