    摘要: A current reference circuit includes a proportional-to-absolute temperature (PTAT) current generator, a band-gap reference circuit and a current replication circuit. The PTAT generator generates a PTAT current. The band-gap reference circuit generates a reference voltage based on the PTAT current and generates a second current by cancelling a first current from the PTAT current. The first current has a zero temperature coefficient and the second current has a positive temperature coefficient. The current replication circuit replicates the first current based on the PTAT current and the second current.

    摘要: Level shifting circuits generate multiple tracking signals that are in-phase with an input signal, but are also level-shifted with wider voltage swings relative to the input signal. These input tracking signals are provided as separate inputs to an inverter having at least one PMOS pull-up transistor and at least one NMOS pull-down transistor therein. A level shifting circuit may include a differential input circuit, which is responsive to true and complementary input signals. A first load circuit is electrically coupled to the differential input circuit. This first load circuit is configured to generate first and second tracking signals at respective first and second nodes therein. These first and second tracking signals are in-phase, level-shifted versions of each other, and have respective voltage swings that are greater than a voltage swing of the complementary input signals. The inverter includes a pull-up transistor responsive to the first tracking signal and a pull-down transistor responsive to the second tracking signal.

    摘要: A display panel driving apparatus and a method of driving the same are provided, and, in particular, a gate driver and a method of driving the gate driver. The gate driver includes a decoder that decodes gate line selection data and that generates a gate line selection signal. A gate driving circuit generates a gate driving signal in a pre-charging phase and a driving phase in response to the gate line selection signal and a pre-charging control signal that controls an off-state of non-selected gate lines. In a time period of the driving phase in which a gate line is not selected, a node that has been in a floating state is held to a target voltage level in response to a hold control signal. The hold control signal is generated based upon a timing relationship between the gate line selection signal and the pre-charging control signal.

    摘要: An apparatus for generating a VCOM voltage in a display device includes first and second buffer amplifiers and a charge pump. The first buffer amplifier is biased with high and low rail voltages for generating the VCOM voltage. The second buffer amplifier generates the high rail voltage at an output node not connected to an external capacitor. The charge pump generates the low rail voltage by charge pumping directly from an external power supply voltage. Alternatively, a charge pump and a comparator are used for generating the VCOM voltage at an output of the charge pump. The comparator generates a charge pump control signal from comparing the VCOM voltage with a reference voltage.
