摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems of an edge server communicating with vehicles by continuously receiving messages which include data of state transitions of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) contained in each vehicle; monitoring in real-time the streamed message data from each vehicle for detection of updates of data about state transitions of ECUs used in the vehicular operations; crowdsourcing in real-time the state transition data of the ECUs during the vehicular operations to group together state transition data having commonality as crowdsource transition data; processing, using a machine learning model, the crowdsource transition data, to classify the crowdsource transition data of an anomaly event; and transmit in advance to an identified vehicle an alert of the anomaly event in order for a driver or ADAS to execute a response.

摘要: A vehicle sharing system for use with a vehicle. The vehicle sharing system comprises: i) a lockbox mounted on an exterior of the vehicle, the lockbox including a vehicle key that opens a door of the vehicle; and ii) a vehicle sharing control module disposed in the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle sharing control module communicates with the lockbox in order to open a door associated with the lockbox in response to a first command message received from a mobile device associated with a user. The lockbox is mounted on a license plate holder of the vehicle and the license plate is mounted on the door of the lockbox.

摘要: A system and method for causing a responsive vehicle action to be carried out at one or more affected vehicles in response to an emergency event. The method includes: identifying probe vehicle(s) in response to an emergency event indication, wherein the probe vehicle(s) are selected based on a proximity between an emergency event location and the vehicle(s) or a route of the vehicle(s); sending a data request to the probe vehicle(s); receiving a data response from the probe vehicle(s) at the remote server, wherein the probe data is based on onboard sensor data obtained from one or more onboard vehicle sensors; and sending a responsive vehicle action message to the affected vehicle(s), wherein the responsive vehicle action message specifies responsive vehicle action(s) to be carried out by the affected vehicle, and wherein at least one of the one or more responsive vehicle actions are determined based on the probe data.

摘要: A system for authorizing temporary access and operation of a vehicle via a mobile computing device, the system includes a processor and a memory device. The system also includes a SRWC module configured to communicate with the mobile computing device; and a CNG module being in communication with the SRWC module, the CNG module includes a NAD, configured to communicate with one or more remote entities over a wireless carrier system; a GPS module, configured to generate vehicle position information and communicate that position data to the one or more remote entities; a CGM, configured to monitor and control incoming communications from the SRWC module, NAD, and GPS module. The CGM further configured to establish communications across a CAN; and a CMS, configured to encrypt the communications established by CGM as well as store the communications in the memory device.

摘要: At least one transceiver is configured to wirelessly receive a unique identifier (ID) of a source node that is external to a vehicle. A distributed ledger includes a list of unique IDs associated with trusted source nodes. An ID comparison module is configured to compare the unique ID of the source node with the list. The at least one transceiver is configured to, in response to a determination that the unique ID of the source node is not within the list, wirelessly transmit the unique ID of the source node the trusted source nodes of a connected network for execution of a consensus algorithm. A ledger management module is configured to, in response to a determination to trust the source node via execution of the consensus algorithm, add the unique ID of the source node to the list.

摘要: A method and system for detecting vehicle events and classifying them based on contextual vehicle information. The method includes detecting a vehicle event using vehicle movement data, and then obtaining and analyzing contextual vehicle information associated with the vehicle event. The contextual vehicle information may be indicative of an external condition that led to the vehicle event, such as an object in the vehicle's path, that helps classify the vehicle event for purposes of insurance risk assessment. Another disclosed method involves comparing the vehicle movement data with the vehicle performance requirements for each of the plurality of insurance carrier plans, and notifying a vehicle operator when the vehicle data satisfies the vehicle performance requirements for any one of the insurance carrier plans. Example systems may include a telematics unit installed to a vehicle that is configured to collect vehicle movement data and contextual vehicle information.
