    Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a peptide consisting of 5 to 30 amino acid residues comprising an amino acid sequence selected from LLADTTHHRPWT (SEQ ID NO: 1), SPGLSLVSHMQT (SEQ ID NO: 2), and the sequences presenting at least 80% identity with SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2, for the funcfionalization of silicon substrate. The present invention also relates to the specific peptides as such, and to silicon substrates functionalized by the adsorption on their surface of such specific peptides.
