Abstract:
A method for reconstructing a radioactive emission image of an overall volume having first and second volumetric regions, each volumetric region having respectively independent dynamic characteristics. The method comprises the following steps: a) obtaining radioactive emissions from the overall volume, including the volumetric regions, b) reconstructing an initial radioactive emission image of the volumetric region according to the radioactive emissions, c) segmenting the initial radioactive emission image to delineate the first and second volumetric regions, and d) separately reconstructing the first and the second volumetric regions according to the respectively independent dynamic characteristics.
Abstract:
A capsule for suppressing appetite, comprising: a) a shell which dissolves in the stomach; and b) a plurality of elements inside the shell, which elements expand inside the stomach, after the shell dissolves, to form a connected mass with an envelope volume greater than the total volume of the elements, and at least 3 times the volume of the capsule.
Abstract:
A method of rehabilitation using an actuator type that includes a movement mechanism capable of applying a force that interacts with a motion of a patient's limb in a volume of at least 30 cm in diameter, in at least three degrees of freedom of motion of the actuator and capable of preventing substantial motion in any point in any direction in said volume, comprising: exercising a patient at a first place of rehabilitation selected from a bed, a wheel-chair, a clinic and a home, using an actuator of said actuator type which interacts with a motion of said patient; and second exercising said patient at a second place of rehabilitation selected from a bed, a wheel-chair, a clinic and a home using a second actuator of said actuator type which interacts with a motion of said patient; wherein said first exercising and said second exercising utilize a same movement mechanism design for moving the actuators.

Abstract:
A method for imaging is providing, including administering a teboroxime species to an adult human subject, administering T1-201-thallous chloride to the subject performing a teboroxime species SPECT imaging procedure of the teboroxime species on a region of interest (ROI) of the subject, and, after administering the teboroxime species, performing a T1-201-thallous chloride SPECT imaging procedure of the T1-201-thallous chloride on the ROI. Administering the teboroxime species and the T1-201-thallous chloride and performing the teboroxime species and the T1-201-thallous chloride SPECT imaging procedures comprise administering the teboroxime species and the T1-201-thallous chloride and performing the teboroxime species and the T1-201-thallous chloride SPECT imaging procedures during a time period having a duration of no more than 30 minutes. Other embodiments are also described.

Abstract:
A method of reconstruction of a radioactive emission image. The method comprises providing a first system of voxels for a region of interest, obtaining radioactive-emission data from the region of interest, performing a first reconstruction, based on the radioactive-emission data and the first system of voxels, to obtain a first image, correcting the first system of voxels, by aligning voxel boundaries with object boundaries, based on the first image; thus obtaining a second system of voxels, and performing a second reconstruction, based on the radioactive-emission data and the second system of voxels, thus obtaining a second image.
